EXCEPTIONAL CUSTOMER SERVICE....
I want to recognize Kate Chaalan, my Service Advisor at Toyota Place, for an exceptional experience. This was the second time Kate assisted me, and once again she did everything right.
She made me feel like I was her only customer, even though I know she was very busy. She kept in constant communication while my vehicle was being troubleshot, worked closely with the technician, and kept me informed every step of the way. She is knowledgeable, professional, and truly cares about her customers.
I’ve been taking Toyota vehicles to dealerships all over Southern California for the past 25 years, and Kate is the best Service Advisor I have ever worked with.
One more thing worth mentioning—when you call this dealership, they actually answer the phone, which is rare these days and very much appreciated.
Toyota Place is fortunate to have Kate Chaalan on their team. She sets the standard for what customer service should look like, and I will continue to request her for all future service visits.

The finance guy towards the end of the purchase tried to charge me for the Toyota Care that comes standard with any new Toyota. The vehicle I purchased wasn't new but it only has 17000 miles so it should still be covered with Toyota. I guess I didn't budge when he tried to get me to buy other stuff so he got desperate at the end. I would stay away from this dealership for sure unless you want to get ripped off . I will never go back again.
ALFONSO the person who works in the finance department has to be worse person ever to exist. Let me tell you why, this guy likes to spread misinformation and tell you straight to your face that you can’t do your own oil change. I mean sure I understand you need to meet a quota but the way Alfonso went about it. Just No. Avoid him, he tries to sell you many ‘deals’ and when you don’t buy into his scheme. He then discourages you on buying the car by saying if you don’t this or that. Then it won’t be worth purchasing the new car. Overall the worse experience ever with any human being. And I’ve been here for more than two decades already while the other gentleman was much OLDER. Just avoid ALFONSO. He has a weird attitude since his mood would completely change when he didn’t like that we would reject his generous ‘offers’. Just avoid Alfonso.

I had a great experience at this location. From the very beginning, Dylan Duy Le was extremely patient and professional throughout the entire process. He assisted us with selecting the truck, preparing the paperwork, and guiding us through each step with clarity and care. Jerry was also very helpful and patient during the paperwork process, making everything smooth and stress-free. We found this truck through Google and initially were not completely sure, but Dylan worked closely with us to ensure we received the best and most affordable price possible. The entire team was friendly, knowledgeable, and supportive. We highly recommend this dealership to anyone looking to purchase a vehicle. The staff is truly outstanding.

I am absolutely furious with my experience at Toyota Place of Garden Grove, specifically with the dealer Armand. I had multiple conversations with him and made it very clear from the beginning that my car payoff was around $8,000. To avoid any surprises, I sent detailed photos of the vehicle in advance. Based on those photos and our discussions, he assured me they could offer something close to that amount.
However, after I took time out of my day to bring the car in person, the offer suddenly dropped to around $4,000 due to what he described as a minor accident. He then claimed that some of the minor damages were not clear in the images I had sent. This explanation makes no sense. Minor damage does not justify cutting the value in half from $8,000 to $4,000.
This entire experience felt misleading and extremely unprofessional. If the condition of the car was truly an issue, that should have been communicated clearly before asking me to come in. Instead, I feel my time was wasted after I did everything possible to be transparent upfront. The lack of honesty and transparency in this process is unacceptable, and I would not recommend this dealership based on my experience.
