    Horrible experience with Caroline. Really ruined the mood of our family vacation. I picked up the vehicle at the Gilroy, CA office. The person who inspected the car with me went over scratches and dents primarily on the front of the car and driver side. He pointed out these scratches and dents are small and nothing to worry about so I didn’t bother taking any photos. Well, the Fresno office certainly thought differently. Caroline said a dent in the driver side door was big enough to report and started asking questions about my auto insurance such as the amount of my deductible. I was stunned as I could barely see the dent she was referring to. I told her the person at the Gilroy office pointed out the scratches and dents on the driver side door and the “damage” she was referring to was not done by me. Caroline then got her manager to look at the door as she was saying the issue was minor enough it may not need to be reported. Both Caroline and her manager said the scratch/dent was “borderline”. Caroline said she would send over the request to the claims department so they can decide if they are going to bother actually repairing the issue. She said they decide quickly and she would call me back right away and if they decide it needs fixing, she would help me with the forms and info to file a dispute. Caroline never called back. I called back after not receiving a call and she confirmed a case was opened and all future contact over the claim and dispute is to be done through the Gilroy office and not with her or the Fresno office. Talk about passing the buck! Caroline and the Fresno office make mountains out of molehills so please avoid this office. I decided to write this review before the claim is closed because Caroline made it clear her work is done so I don’t expect any more involvement with her or the Fresno office.

    Very unpleasant experience at this Enterprise location, particularly with their associate Caroline. Upon returning the vehicle, I was informed that there was a dent on the hood that allegedly occurred during my rental. The dent was only visible from a very specific angle and was not something that had been noted when the vehicle was released to me. When I asked for documentation and photos showing the vehicle’s condition at the time it was provided to me, I was told that none were available. As someone who has rented vehicles for years, this was the first time I have encountered a situation like this. It was striking how much more thorough the return inspection was compared to the process when the vehicle was initially handed off. It gave the clear impression that staff were actively searching for issues upon return that were not properly documented at pickup. I would strongly encourage others to avoid this location if possible. If you do rent here, be prepared to take extremely detailed photos and videos of the vehicle from every possible angle before leaving the lot to protect yourself. UPDATE: I attempted to resolve this through the channel below, but the process has been unhelpful. I submitted my issue and have not received a response. Overall, this has been an extremely frustrating experience.
