However, today I was notified after service that my oil pan threads were worn out and was told it just happens over time. My car has only had 9 oil changes (one every 10k miles), I’ve never had this issue before with any of my other vehicles and after some research learned this is caused basically from how the thread is removed or replaced. Now being that I’ve had the majority of my oil changes at this jiffy lube it seems they have caused the issue they were trying to gaslight me into believing was just normal wear and tear. I won’t be returning and hopefully this won’t be an overly expensive repair to fix.

That reminded me I needed to get my oil changed. They were friendly and polite. I did need a couple of filters changed. I will definitely be back next time.
