I’m very disappointed with the service at this location. They heavily advertise free battery replacement with purchase, but the reality is much different. When I arrived, the store was incredibly short-staffed, and I was told I’d have to wait an hour and a half just for someone to be available to swap the battery.
Understandable that things get busy, so I offered to do the work myself right there in the parking lot if they could simply lend me the basic tools needed. They refused to let me use a wrench and told me I would have to purchase the tools myself if I wanted the battery replaced any sooner.
It’s ridiculous to advertise a "free" service and then essentially force a tool purchase or an unreasonable wait time because of poor staffing. If you’re looking for the "trustworthy" service they promise in their commercials, go elsewhere.
They don't even know their own return policy, which explicitly states that the physical card is not required for a refund. I was perfectly fine with having the money refunded to my card, but I didn't have the card itself with me—and their policy on the website confirms that this is indeed possible. Yet, their clueless manager is completely unfamiliar with the policies of the very store where they work.
And on top of that, they’re spouting some nonsense about taxes. Wake up and read the policies of the store where you work.
Today at 9:40 4/25/2026. I went to that store buy Freon 134Aa, when I go to the store only 1 left on the shelf, I pick that but I don’t pay attention when I went home found out that can some one else used and return it, I came back to the store I saw the cashier person and told them and then she went inside speaker with ladies I think the Supervisor or Manager and then she came out told she not sold to me like that, I am asking her how do you know she told me the cashier person told her that, do you guy think the cashier person to pay attention to know the can was used or not and then they said can’t do anything. My problem is if we are the manager or Supervisor we need to go to investigate and asking cashier person more detail before go to customer said we can’t sale to you like that and then that can just $19.83 include tax, before when to to the store I saw the cashier person seat and used the phone how can she pay attention knew the can 134a used or not used. If any one go to that store make sure double check before get Freon 134a.
I received excellent customer service today and help with installing new wiper blades at the Fremont store. Will be back!!!!
Manager was awsome. He was fun to talk to and polite as well.
