  Two months ago, I purchased the bed. Recently, while attempting to use a trailer I had just purchased, I found that the trailer lights would not power. Testing the 7-pin connector showed no power at the plug. Upon inspecting the underlying wiring, I discovered that the connections from the wiring harness were not plugged in. After I connected the harness and re-tested, the 7-pin plug functioned. During this inspection, I also observed that my truck was recognizing a trailer being attached even when it wasn’t, and the reverse lights flashed erratically whenever the ignition was on. It appears the harness was left unplugged on purpose, suggesting the possibility that it was not intended to be used for towing. I contacted the service technician to report the issue. He suggested that I bring the truck bed in and drop it off for servicing. I explained that I live approximately 3.5 hours away and could not make a same-day drop-off. He then indicated there was nothing further that could be done, suggesting I try a nearby branch. I called the Martinez store to explain the situation and was informed that their service manager had recently resigned and there was no one available to service trailers or truck beds. I was advised to contact the manager in Fowler to discuss the matter, explaining that Fowler is the store where I purchased the product. I attempted to reach the Fowler store manager, but she is currently on vacation for a week, so a resolution could not be provided promptly. It is highly concerning that a customer would pay $8,000 for a new product and be met with limited service options, especially given the potential safety implications of an improperly wired trailer harness. I believe the company should take responsibility to resolve this promptly, ideally by arranging one of the following: - Send a service technician to my location to diagnose and fix the issue, with the cost covered by the company; or - Arrange for a local trailer/truck-bed service provider to address the problem and cover the associated costs. This is my first truck bed from Big Tex, and I hoped for a smooth, reliable experience. I would appreciate your immediate assistance in resolving this matter so that I can safely use the trailer with my new bed.

  Robert Alvarez was shorthanded and he showed a lot of patience and was able to help multiple customers in the shop and on the phone. He answered a lot of my questions and was very receptive to additional asks when purchasing.

  We had the pleasure of meeting both German and Robert at the World Ag Expo. They’re both incredibly knowledgeable about their products, and they’re a real help when it comes to buying trailers. They’re definitely not the kind of pushy salesmen you’d expect. They’ll work hard to find you the perfect trailer. We’re so happy with our purchase from BigTex!

  RUDE RUDE RUDE RUDE. THESE PEOPLE R BEYOND RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL. I WENT IN FOR SERVICE. TOLD ME TO GO THROUGH SOME GATES THAT WEREN'T OPEN. NOONE WENT OUT THERE TO OPEN THEM FOR THIS CUSTOMER. I OPENED THEM. WENT IN. SPOKE TO A PERSON. BARELY. ( VERY DRY AND COLD) ANYWAYS GOT ISSUE DEALT WITH. (I GUESS) GUY LEFT. SAID WOULD EMAIL INFO. 3 DAYS LATER I'M STILL WAITING. WEN I WENT TO LEAVE, DAM GATE WAS CLOSED. AGAIN I HAD TO OPEN IT MYSELF FOR ME. I REALLY DON'T LIKE THE LACK OF GOOD QUALITY SERVICE THIS FRESNO CO GAVE. I WON'T B BUYING FROM THIS COMPANY AND DON'T RECOMMEND THEM EITHER....
