Please before you allow anyone to work on your car take pictures of before and after. It seems that accountability is rare these days and make sure that you check the work after its completed. Things to check for to help prevent getting scammed Tire tread depth Tire year on tire Original or your own lugnuts are returned back on tire When rotors are new they do not have a lip on the edge Brakes when done properly do not squeak excessively Make sure proper bolts are used to OEM specifications Educate yourself on the procedures before paying When tires are rotated make sure they are by marking with Chalk You are not required to pay until what you requested is done properly Remember faulty work when dealing with vehicles is life threatening to yourself and others on the road.

On October 16, 2025, On October 16, 2025 I took my 2015 Kia Optima to Tire CHOICE auto center at 17067 Foothill Blvd. in Fontana to have four tires installed. It was taking a long time for the tires to be installed and I checked back and the manager explained to me that they got all three tires on, but the front one could not be installed. He showed me the wheel and said that the studs were messed up and they could not be installed. I said that shouldn’t be that way because we had just drove the car in here and it was no problem. He said well that’s the way we we found them. We couldn’t do it. I said to myself why didn’t you not show me that before you started working on the car rather than at the end and then you know you’re saying that it was messed up. It had to be that way when you took the tire off. Well I’m the only person that works on that car other than the Kia dealer in Fontana and they did not remove the tires when they installed the engine all the other work has been done by me. The problem was there and I asked him well. How much will it cost to fix it? He gave me a price of $340 to install the lugs and the nuts that’s it now no way that’s too much money for that job more than it cost me to even have the tires installed so I said I’ll call AAA and get my car out of here that’s it. Can we get the tire back on this as well we will try and went out to the bay with him and showed me the damage that was on the wheel. I saw one Stud broken off others cross threaded. I don’t know how that would’ve been done. I don’t have an impact wrench. don’t use an impact wrench and I always start my nuts by hand instead of doing it with an impact or with with the lug wrench. He took the tire held it in place and told one of the employees to hit it while the impact gun. the lug nut was already inside of the impact socket and then he torqued it down and I said that’s the problem you’re not supposed to start those like that you supposed to start by hand and then tighten them all the way so well I started it, but your hands are holding both sides of a tire. You couldn’t very well done that. Anyway, I made a report to corporate and I’ve sent in numerous emails. I’ve left messages. They gave me a case number (5223660) or (52260)and I still haven’t been able to get a response. They said on three occasions they would call me back. They’ve never called me back and my car has been stuck not used since October 16, 2025 when it was towed to my home. I’ve been awaiting a response from this company. Their customer service is poor. The service is poor from what I can see the technicians haven’t been trained properly. Otherwise they will have started the nut by hand. Even though the manager said he started it he very well couldn’t because he was holding the tire with both hands right and left when The mechanic with a nut inside the impact socket torqued the wheeldown. This is a place that I would never take a car again to get any service done and the Munro who is the parent company for this and Fitzsimmons is the CEO I’ve contacted customer care who gave me the case number at that’s the extent of their assistance. I’m submitting a complaint to the California Bureau o Automotive Repair. This shop needs to be checked out.
