  My 8 year old Class A RV is built on a Ford chassis and trouble lights were illuminated. I live in the Bay Area and I wanted diagnosis by a Ford dealer, but ended up in Fairfield as I was unable to find a closer dealer willing to work on a 30' long RV. The Ford dealer was unwilling to even look at the dashboard air conditioning, but finally diagnosed that the transmission was failing and illuminating the trouble lights. Seeking a second opinion, I happily ended up at North Bay Truck Center. They confirmed the diagnosis and installed a Ford remanufactured transmission. They were also able to repair the dashboard air conditioner and got the smog inspection which was due. I highly recommend Jim Buell, Mike Gillis, and Juan Arellano. I trusted what they were telling me and they better understood how to handle my rig.

  I take my Motorhome to North Bay Truck Center for all chassis service, including smog testing. They are thorough and efficient. The service writers are helpful and friendly. At this time (January 2022), Motorhome labor rates are $169 per hour, which I feel is fair. They have a comfortable waiting lounge with TV, recliners, fresh fruit, popcorn, soda and snack machines. I really like this place. Great location, too. This is a rare find in the Bay Area.

  Great people. Great service. My RV needed a lot of mechanical work, and they got everything done within my short timeline.
