  Worst experience with this branch. I have used Enterprise for years but this branch bait and switched on a insurance claim. Spoke with a manager and was resistant to help. Terrible experience.

  I needed to rent a vehicle for a day and on short notice. I went on line and pulled up Enterprise, as well as two other rental companies. After comparison, I selected Enterprise due to the following; great prices, wide selection of readily available vehicles to choose from, and the time saving option of online pre check in. This option alone saved so much time. When I arrived, I only needed to provide ID, and CC to verify, and a walk around the vehicle, I signed the employee tablet at the vehicle and was on my way. Returning the vehicle was equally fast; a quick walk around, and the employee acknowledgement on the tablet that the vehicle was returned and I was on my way. Also worth mentioning is the brief in person interaction with Enterprise employees - they were polite, attentive, courteous, and professional. Overall a great five star experience.

  My experience at the Enterprise Rent-A-Car Escondido location on Washington Avenue was excellent. The staff was friendly, professional, and very efficient, making both pickup and return quick and stress-free. The vehicle was clean, well-maintained, and ready on time.   I had a very disappointing experience at this Enterprise location. I reserved a luxury sedan, but upon arrival I was told none were available with heated seats and was instead given a Jeep Compass, which is not a comparable vehicle class. The process took over an hour, largely because the staff assisting me did not seem to know which vehicles had basic features like heated seats. The vehicle provided was also not rental-ready. The antenna was missing at pickup and my husband had to install it himself. In addition, the car was delivered with only one-quarter tank of fuel, which is well below what should be expected at pickup. After raising concerns, I was told the branch had called to notify me that the luxury sedan was available. I reviewed the voicemail left and it did not state that — it only mentioned general pickup requirements. I am a frequent Enterprise customer and have not experienced this level of disorganization, miscommunication, and lack of preparation before. This location needs better vehicle readiness checks and clearer communication with customers.
