My wife has a 2017 Kia Sorento with just over 70,000 miles. It has been has guzzling oil for months now. It isn't leaking the oil, it is burning the oil. We replaced the PCV valve, changed the oil and filter - many times - and checked for any leaks in the engine. Nothing.
After doing research, it became clear that this is a known issue with the 2017 2.4L GDI engine. This dealership has the option to do something about this, but this dealership would not.
The 2017 Kia Sorento has been recalled 4 times. Eventually this car will die. When we talked with the service rep - who offered to do a ring soak process for $1,000 that 'sometimes works' - we told them that this is a known issue with this car, yet they won't do anything about it, so there is no way we are ever going to purchase another vehicle from a company that doesn't give a darn about their customers, his response was just 'Ya, I know'.
We purchased in good faith - only to be treated as if we didn't matter once they had our money.
Never buy anything from this dealership. They will not stand behind their product, even for known issues.
This dealership has the option to help customers with this issue, but they won't.
I will never buy from them.

I had such an excellent time with Manny! From the moment that I was greeted by Manny, he was professional, friendly and genuinely respectful of my time. I initially came in because of the positive impact Manny had on my dad. He spoke so highly of his experience that I felt confident moving forward and that trust was absolutely validated.
He took the time to really listen to my concerns and made sure I felt heard throughout the entire process. What stood out most was his ability to offer reassurance without ever being pushy! There was absolutely no pressure at any point, which made the experience feel comfortable and stress-free.

We had a great experience at Kia Elk Grove, and a big part of that was working with Brandon Calloway.
From the start, Brandon approached everything as a true advisor. He’s incredibly knowledgeable about the Kia lineup and took the time to walk us through options without ever being pushy. What stood out most is that he genuinely advocated for our best interests, helping us think through what actually made sense for our needs rather than just trying to close a deal.
We ended up getting our hands on a 2027 hybrid Telluride EX (fresh off the truck!) and the entire process felt smooth, transparent, and low-pressure. Brandon made sure we were comfortable and informed at every step.
You can tell he takes real pride in his work. He’s also a family guy, which comes through in how he treats people: with patience, honesty, and respect.
If you’re considering a Kia and weighing your options, I’d highly recommend asking for Brandon. He made what can sometimes be a stressful process feel easy and fun!

This review is of their car service/ technicians department. We had not had any noticeable issues since we bought our Niro plug-in in 2019. Everything changed two services ago. During that oil change service, they took out our cabin air filter and did not replace it nor put the parts back together. The cover was on the ground of the passanger seat. My husband had not noticed prior to leaving because he had no need to look on the floor area of the passanger seat. It was until I got in after he got home that I discovered something was not right. We called the service department right away and got seen. A young man who was in charge at that time apologized and assesed the issue. He then said the next service was going to be on them ( i did not hold my breath on that.) The next service came along and my husband mentioned that to them and he was told since it was not written down they could not honor that, which I could understand. It was not until about three months later when the Plug-In Niro over heated in the backroads going home that my husband realizes they had taken off the cap to the radiator and set it on another part from under the hood where it would have not fallen off. There is absolutly no need for us to open the hood of this vehicle at all, since we have not had ANY issues before. My husband called their department again. This time a young lady said, that was completley false their technicians would have not done something like that and instead blamed us. My husband had to walk 2 miles to the nearest auto store and ask what kind of coolant he needed for that specific car. Now that we have had such bad service my husband decided to try and do the oil change on his own and as he got under the car he noticed the majority of the bolts are missing! We would have never noticed the missing bolts if it wasn't for their mistake with the radiator. This very well could have been a single occurance but given we have had two pretty big issues already I am not confident that this hasn't happened before to other people.

DO NOT GO TO THIS SERVICE DEPARTMENT WORSE EXPERIENCE EVER. To start off they called me to tell me they needed to set up an appointment so that they can program a key after i purchased a new car from them. I purchased the car in January they called me and appointment was for Feb 3rd. I show up in February after they called me as they finally had the key to program and guess what they then tell me they have no key they need to order it and they will call me back as soon as they get it. So here we are now in the month of March and i have not been contacted even though they told me they placed the order and will reach out to me. So i finally I call them towards the end of March to see whats going on and they say that they have had the key in and we can schedule the appointment. I asked why I have not been called to schedule the appointment and they said they were not sure why. So if i wouldnt of called them I still would be waiting. So finally i take my car in. I was not told i needed to bring all keys with me or given any instructions. They programmed my key and when i get home my other set of keys is not working this happened on tuesday March 31st. So as soon as i realized the key didnt work which was later that same day. I knew i had to guve them a call the next morning. i gave them a call and told them i needed to speak to someone to get this addressed. They transferred me to Aaron voice-mail but it had someone elses name. I left a message no call back. I called the next day explained i had not been called back and they transfered me to a managers voicemail which has 2 different managers names for the voicemail again left a message and i did not get a call back. I give them some time no callback. So now we are in the week of april. I called them on april 6th By this time im more than upset. I call back and let them know that i need a manager to call me back or i am going to leave a review about this horrible service and that i need a callback by end of day. Again i was transferred to the voicemail of management and left a message. I believe the person that answered the phone let the manager know as i got a callback a few hours later but i tried to answer the call and they had already hung up didnt even leave a message but thats okay because i was calling right back like 2 seconds later as the only thing that happened was i couldnt answer in time. You would think i would get the manager on the line absolutely not. I was transferred to voice mail again and I even told the lady that answered the phone that i literally had just missed the call welp she said she didnt know and she couldnt get a hold of them so again im thinking well maybe since they know i am upset he will try calling back in the next few minutes and again nothing. So i hold off on leaving a bad review since they did call me back this is now april 7th right so i give them another chance and said i will call again and wait for them to call me back nope nothing. I left a message again yesterday april 8th and yet again NO CALL BACK!!! the service is more than ridiculous. I am thinking on canceling my extended warranty and maintenance plan that i purchased from them as i do not want to continue working with them with this lousy service its ridiculous!!! Today is april 9th and yet no callback so i decided to finnally leave them the review they have worked so hard to earn absolutely ridiculous.!!!!!!
