  I rented a car at Enterprise Rent-A-Car in El Segundo when my car was at body shop for 5 weeks. The staff there was very nice and helpful. I just called to extend my rental. IT was very easy to work with them. They also gave me free rides to and from the body shop.

  They downgraded the car I had reserved. I had booked a Nissan Rogue or similar vehicle, but they gave me a smaller Hyundai Kona instead. There was no discount whatsoever. The interior was extremely dirty, with old stains embedded in the cup holders, and the car keys were all broken—I only received one. The driver's seat had a large hole in it, and there were numerous stains all over the seat. The employee pressured us into buying insurance. We tried to use the coverage included with our credit card, but they cleverly explained it to us as if it didn't apply.

  Thank you Sebastian for your service! He made the check in and check out process easy. We were even given a complementary ride afterwards. The prices were competitive and the car worked great against the LA rain storm.

  I usually have good experiences with Enterprise, especially at the Lawndale location, but my experience at Enterprise El Segundo was extremely disappointing. I drive a 2025 Acura MDX and needed a rental through my insurance. The only car they initially gave me was a Mitsubishi Mirage, which was completely impractical for my family—my three kids didn’t even fit. When I went back to switch it out, I explained how important space was for me. In the past with insurance rentals, I’ve been given cars like a Malibu or a Nissan Titan—not luxury cars, but at least practical and roomy. This time, they placed me in a Corolla and told me there were no other options, not even if I wanted to pay for an upgrade. The only larger car they mentioned was a Tahoe, but it was $50 a day out of pocket, which felt like they were steering me away from it instead of helping me find a reasonable solution. They told me to “come back Tuesday to check for better options,” but I feel like they should be upfront and let customers know what cars are available so we can make informed decisions. I wanted to push back on the Corolla—especially since I’ll be driving a long distance for my daughter’s softball tournament—but I didn’t want to stress myself more than I already was. On top of that, I was told I can’t even drop the car off at another Enterprise location to try to switch it out for something more spacious, which makes this even more frustrating. Overall, I left very unhappy with the lack of accommodation and flexibility at this location. I’ve rented cars through insurance many times and never had issues like this. Enterprise El Segundo did not meet the standard of service I’ve come to expect.

  Great location. Near airport but cheaper and plenty of vehicle availability. Friendly and helpful staff.
