  My father in law recommended this place. I stopped by and noticed there are really no instructions other than maintain yourself inside your vehicle. I positioned my car behind a car that was already in the Bay Area. An employee came out a few moments later and shouted “Park back there!” No greeting. No “How can I help you?” From then on I was extremely upset and disappointed. I ended up being helped by another employee who was great. He was thorough and pleasant. It helped give this a 2 star instead of zero.

  The men who provided my oil change and cabin filter replacement were very professional and quick. I previously visited another Valvoline closer to my house and they weren’t as personable or quick. I will definitely be coming back. Thank you!

  I brought my vehicle in for service, but the team installed standard CVT fluid instead of the required Mercon LV. When I questioned this, the staff stated their system (linked to Carfax) told them to use CVT fluid based on the VIN. The Issue: Because this is an eCVT (electronic transmission), standard CVT fluid is incorrect and caused my transmission to start slipping immediately. When I returned to point out the error, the team initially insisted I was requesting the wrong fluid. I had to insist they use Mercon LV and was even charged a second time for the correction. The Resolution: After further investigation, the management realized the mistake and refunded my money. While I appreciate them making it right financially, I am now concerned about the long-term health of my transmission due to the internal wear caused by the wrong fluid. Advice to others: If you drive a Ford Hybrid, double-check that they are using Mercon LV. Do not rely solely on their internal scanners if the car isn't driving right.

  This shop is a total joke. Avoid at all costs. Does this crew take any pride in their work? I got my oil and front / rear diff fluids changed here. This service was recommended by the shop and the car company. The shop crew here forgot to put my engine skid plate gap filler back on. I drove off without it and returned once I realized it was missing minutes later. They eventually put it back on. In addition, this crew lost several of my OEM skid plate bolts somewhere on the floor of their shop. I checked to see if the bolts had been replaced to their rightful spots and I noticed one of the engine skid plate bolts was replaced with a different bolt that wasn't there before. They torqued the bolts down so tight I can't get them off with my own tools at home. Other bolts were just straight up missing and were never replaced. They also put the oil filter access door on backwards and torqued the bolts down so hard I can't take the door off to put it back on the right way. I don't expect everyone to be an expert on every aftermarket skid plate that rolls into the shop. However, they can't even be bothered to put the original bolts back correctly or put the oil filter access door back on the right way. I'm going to have to seek the assistance of an off-roading specific shop for help, because this Valvoline crew made it impossible for me to fix these issues on my own. I will say they're pretty good at adding up all the service charges and collecting payment though. Customers at this shop pay top dollar for service. You can't count on anyone to do the right thing out there anymore. It's a shame. Learn to change your oil and fluids on your own. These guys will change it for you, but you'll drive away with new problems that they created for you.
