Always a great place to stop for gas and convenience store items along with a quick bite in use of the restrooms.

04/16/26 - night shift from 15th. Two lazy workers doing nothing just standing by the register. Showers are not available - no water. And, off cause, there is hot and cold water in the restrooms.

None of the employees seem to know where any of the other employees were at any given time. There were taken apart and half cleaned coffee and tea urns just kind of sitting there with dirty rags on the counter. No employee in sight. But what really got me is number one I clearly had too much stuff to carry because I even had to put it down on the counter and then finish my shopping and then come back to the counter to pay, and pay for gas. He did not offer me a bag. I had to ask for one after he has a total up and I rounded up for gas to make it an even amount. Then he was like oh well it's 10 cents for a bag and I said okay that's fine and then took 10 cents off of the gas amount so it was still even amount. Then he whipped out a paper bag. Not even a good paper bag. The really thin small kind that you would put a loaf of bread in and still hope it wouldn't break. What the hell??? I can understand paying 10 cents for one of those good recyclable plastic bags. They are sturdy and reusable. But this? For a paper bag?? And of course it ripped the second I got out the door with it. And before anyone says "it's only 10 cents", keep in mind this year amount of customers they have in and out of here everyday. Some people get two or three bags but let's just say everybody got one bag. Times 50 customers an hour. And that is a conservative number. That's $5 an hour times 24 hours. That is $120 a day, a dime at a time, for the cheapest of cheap cheap bags. One box of these doesn't cost $8 for 500. I just looked them up the really good bags are an average of 3 cents each to buy. So the store is not just offsetting the cost of the bags. They're making profit on these dumb paper bags. Killing trees with no apology.
