    I paid $235 for check my coolant high temperature issue , they check my car for 2 days and they told me your car is ok you can drive now , I drive my car for 10 mints and I got high temperature again , they need 2 more day to know the reason I requested arefund and the manager refused , I been to other place and they knew the reason in 15 mints and they fixed it . I did my service with Toyota in San Diego , LA , Sunnyvale ,Modesto it was great but this one nooo !!

    I usually don’t care enough to leave reviews for places no matter how good or bad it is but I feel people would benefit from this one. This is the closest Toyota service center to me so I have been coming here for parts and maintenance. The wait times are long compared to other places but reasonable. They have their tire specialist out front to check everyone in and he is always amazing, he’ll tell you the truth and doesn’t push unnecessary services. A significant thing this Toyota service center does badly is the lack of price transparency from service advisors. I came back this year for the buy 3 tires and get the 4th for $1. This location was not listed on the Toyota dealerships on the online tire center website where you can shop and compare prices but it was close to me. The 4 tires I saw online was listed ranging from $610-$630 from multiple Toyota service centers around the Bay Area. Here at City Toyota I received an invoice of $760 in person and was told the prices I saw online did not include installation despite clearly seeing it state it did. It would’ve been even cheaper if it did not. When I questioned about the expensive invoice further, they came up with more excuses like disposal fee and other taxes and questioned me where I’m getting my numbers from (the Toyota Tire Center??). I even called Victory Toyota and Swickard 101 and they confirmed the prices online reflect the out the door price with installation. I gave up here and left after getting no where with the service advisor about the price. Saved myself around $100 for the same tires the same day somewhere else. Be careful with prices here cause if you are someone that blindly trust, you would likely be over charged. City Toyota will try its hardest to not price match no matter how much they advertise that they do on the service specials page.

    Came in after only 2K miles to have the tire pressure checked as alerts are showing & I left there with the same problem. Specifically told ‘advisor’ that we’d put on new Toyota rims/tires & figured it was due to this. The issue & warning lights remain on my dash MALFUNCTION - VISIT YOUR DEALER. Not sure what they did that took 3 hours when I was told 1.5. It was too soon for a service visit so it was a wasted Friday afternoon. As soon as I called when I saw warning I was asked to come back. This a huge expenditure of time for people! It’s not that easy to create this opening & then not have a very specific issue resolved. There are loads of employees standing around as well. Seems they just do the minimum required at this dealership (I’m now learning as I’m a new Toyota Tacoma owner). This was very disappointing & frustrating. And I don’t typically submit bad reviews. I’m more likely to praise businesses.
