I used the Costco Auto Program to begin my online shopping experience. I received an email authorization number immediately; the email contained a list of trained Authorized Contacts at the dealership. Surprisingly, Authorized Contact Marvin Luna called and left me a voice message saying he e-mailed me a quote for my selected vehicle. I called Marvin back apologizing that I hadn't checked my email and didn't answer his call since he wasn't a saved contact. We agreed to meet in person the following day (Sunday). I went with my Mom to meet him and we are very impressed with his skills to not only explain the Costco Auto Program but also to address all our questions and concerns. Marvin's attention to detail along with a doctor's bedside manner guided us through the whole purchase process. We never felt overwhelmed with the information. Anytime something began to sound complicated, my Mom and I felt comfortable pausing Marvin and asking him to review it again to get us up to speed. He is so courteous and charming. We left there with a new vehicle and a positive appreciation for Marvin and City Toyota.

Here's my experience. Last week I saw a Lexus NX300H with low miles in nori green pearl exterior & creme interior. The picture was stock so I called to ask for pics. A salesman took a half dozen pics & a few videos & explained we just got this in hence the stock pic after sending them to me within the hour! (Thank you Jose that sealed the deal for me right there. This car was immaculate (oh 2021 with 34.5 k miles. I asked for a carmax report & work history - BOOM got them that day (thank you Luis) that doubled my interest! Day 3 they said come in & drive it...I hemmed & hawed, & talked to a few friends who said get it! Then I said see you Thursday I had to wait on a friend to drive me down from Santa Rosa. They called me back & said listen if you're serious you better move because 4 others immediately began exploring same car. So what do they do next? They sent an Uber to pick me up thisorning because it might not be there Thursday. Who even does that anymore?! City Toyota apparently. Well it's Tues 5 pm & this car which is stunning inside & out, immaculate & loaded luxury trim level is sitting in my driveway & I couldn't be happier. Ben got me through financing with zero pressure & absolute professionalism & I was driving my new car home in 1 hr 15 minutes after getting there I said I need to move quick I have 2 appts afterward. Quite a team. They got everything moving quickly & the sales manager gave me his card telling me anything at all just call. I loathed the idea of dealing with a dealership. These guys couldn't have been more solicitous & professional really. My buddy wants to head there looking for a particular pick up after hearing my report on the place. Easy fast no games all professionalism - Done! Couldn't be more pleased. Thx guys.

I had a great experience at City Toyota! If you are looking for a new car with good prices and well informed, friendly businessmen, these are the people for you! From the moment I walked in the service was incredible! Everyone was very welcoming, and accommodating towards my needs. They helped me come up with a plan to remain in my budget and showed me all my options, giving great insight. Chris Paras and Jim Wardy are just the best. They’re very helpful, and ensured I knew that there was no pressure to commit to a car if I didn’t feel comfortable to. They are like family, and Greg Condes also played a vital role in our experience. He helped us through the test drive and really helped me get to know my now car! He was super knowledgeable and approachable. Additionally very patient, because I didn’t quite know what I was looking for. Aida Geojayan was also so easy to talk to and helped us through the financial process. My mom (who is the co-owner) couldn’t be present to view the cars with me, but Aida ensured that we understood what we were signing and made it super clear and easy for us to fill out our paperwork. All 4 even reached out after I got the car, just to see if I had any questions, offering help, and to make sure that I was satisfied with the purchase which I greatly appreciated. Everyone who I didn’t get to meet personally was friendly, waved, and smiled as we passed. Overall it’s a great environment, they have a great selection of cars, and provide amazing service! I would highly recommend you check it out if you’re on the search for a reliable and visually appealing car!

I am at a loss for words to describe my experience at this dealership. I came in hoping to lease a car, but left in a terrible emotional state and am still trying to recover from the visit. I do not recommend working with Neil. At first, he was very friendly, but when I declined a $32,000 car with a $700/month payment over 36 months (which practically almost covers the full cost of the car), he started implying that I didn’t understand anything and said, in a condescending tone, “this is a Toyota, not some Kia” - even though he knew I was considering a Kia. When I asked to see other cars or at least learn about current promotions or approximate numbers for other models, Neil said he could try to “do the impossible” and lower the price to $500. This was clearly nonsense. When I requested to see other options again, he became irritated and insisted that without a test drive, discussing numbers “makes no sense.” When I asked about promotions again, he repeatedly responded with phrases like, “Well, if we have a promotion on a Toyota Tacoma, would you drive a Tacoma?” over and over, instead of simply providing approximate monthly payment information for other vehicles. Neil also insisted that they expect a $10,000 down payment, and that with my $5,000, a $700 monthly payment was “just a gift” - again, for a $32,000 car. The whole experience was absolutely humiliating. I felt scolded like a child just for wanting to explore my options. I honestly think I will need therapy after this visit. I never imagined that a dealership for a brand like Toyota could not only mislead and pressure a customer like this, but also openly demean them. I came in ready and willing to lease a car - I left with emotional trauma.

This was the worst dealership experience I have ever had in my life. My sister and I came to the dealership to review pricing and receive lease estimates for several vehicles. We worked with a sales representative named Neil. Instead of providing basic pricing information, he refused to discuss numbers unless we completed a test drive and selected a specific model first. Eventually, we asked for lease terms on a Toyota Corolla Cross. We were quoted $700 per month for a three-year lease on a vehicle without even basic features such as power seats. The offer appeared unreasonable and lacked transparency. He also stated that a $5,000 down payment on a $30,000 vehicle was “very low” and claimed that customers “usually put down $10,000.” This statement felt inappropriate and misleading, especially given the context of a lease discussion. During the conversation, as we continued asking questions, he gradually began lowering the numbers, as if we were expected to feel grateful for small adjustments. This approach felt manipulative rather than transparent. After receiving one quote, we asked to see alternative offers and different options. In response, the representative began reacting rudely and aggressively, raising his voice and behaving in a highly disrespectful manner. Instead of having a constructive conversation, we were met with pressure and hostility. His behavior was so aggressive that my sister experienced significant stress and a state close to a panic attack. This is absolutely unacceptable in any customer service environment. What is particularly concerning is that the representative appeared to take advantage of the fact that we are not fully fluent in English. Rather than calmly and transparently explaining the terms, he increased the pressure and behaved in an extremely inappropriate manner. This raises serious concerns about the ethics of his sales practices. I do not understand how someone with this style of communication continues to work at an official dealership. Such behavior seriously undermines trust in the Toyota brand
