- BBBigmikeDec 6, 20252.0I've been going to the one in South Corona since it opened about 3 years ago with my Jeep. Today I was told that I can not go through the car wash since I have gas cans on the back. These have been on the Jeep since I've beeng going here, they are Rotopax which means they don't leak like a metal gas can. They are also on the rack between the tire and the tail gate which also means the car wash brushes don't even touch them. But the dufus at the gate just told me that is what he was told (that vehicles with gas cans can't go through) and wouldn't do anything to help me here with any suggestions, just told me I had to leave the line and take the cans off. I take good care of my stuff, yet they will let some leaking diesel truck go through or someone with all kinds of dirt on their vehicle go through and cunk up the brushes. (I always pre-washed mine to remove all the crap if I had been offroading, I went through the wash here to get it soaped and waxed up) So I'm voting with my dollars and going somewhere else, the qualtiy of the washes here has gone down hill dramatically in the last year anyhow. I've only been taking the Jeep there since it's an offroad toy and doesn't have pristine paint work. I take my other vehicles to a more upscale car wash where I don't have to worry about the scratches.
