I generally avoid leaving negative feedback, but I feel compelled to share my experience. I have visited this shop approximately five times over the past year with my store van. During my first visit, I brought the van in for an oil leak on the compressor. I dropped it off early in the afternoon and called later that day to check on the status. The advisor responded by raising/yelling his voice and telling me I had called too soon, despite my prior confirmation that they could inspect the van promptly. Even if they had not yet checked the vehicle, I do not believe it was appropriate to respond in that manner when I was simply inquiring politely.
On my second visit, there was a freon leak at the site of their previous repair. Although they attempted to fix it several times, they were unsuccessful and ultimately replaced the entire hose line, resulting in significant additional cost.
During the recent visit, my presence was necessitated by the intermittent operation of the controller. They had possession of the van for two days and contacted me to indicate that they required authorization to replace a significant component, the cost of which was $600 for parts alone. Do I have an option? Certainly not! I informed them that if the component was indeed causing the issue, it needed to be replaced. However, a couple of hours later, he conveyed that they did not require a replacement of the component and that the issue had been identified. It was a single fuse. I assumed the expense would be minimal since it was merely a fuse; however, upon my arrival, they billed me for 4 hours of labor in addition to the cost of charging the freon. Firstly, could you explain why it was necessary to add more Freon despite having resolved the issue during my previous visit? Additionally, why does it require four hours of labor to replace a fuse? I inquired politely with the advisor about the reason for such a high amount. He began to shout at me once more! I understand your perspective, but I chose to pay and exit rather than engage with the situation. But sufficient is sufficient. I will not allow this to be overlooked. As a mechanic, my initial step in addressing an electrical issue would be to inspect the battery connection and fuses. Why must I compensate a mechanic who seems uncertain about their task? Moreover, the advisor who was yelling at me exerted significant pressure on me. I reached out to the Bureau of Automotive Repair, and they informed me that I am eligible to file a complaint, as the cooler is connected to the van. I can still proceed with submitting a complaint to them. I understand that there are not numerous establishments capable of repairing a car refrigerator; however, I prefer to travel a considerable distance to visit a reputable shop.
This location is in disarray!

I had a reefer container that needed an urgent service call for a malfunctioning defroster, called them up to see if they could schedule an appointment, and first thing they asked for is our credit card info.
I asked if they have anyone available for that same day and was denied to provide any further details unless I give them my cc info. Reluctantly, I gave in since I needed my unit fixed. After the info was provided, they told me there wasn't any available tech for that day and they will have to check with their dispatcher, which was unavailable at that time, for the following day availability.
They said they would call me back by the end of the day to confirm and schedule a day and time of the appointment. To our disappointment, they didn't call back as promised nor leave us a voicemail. We found a different company the following day to address our reefer issues. A week later we got a charge from our credit card in total of $304.76. In summary, they did not callback to confirm appointment time and date, did not email any correspondence, the audacity to charge us for a bogus service that was never rendered. BE AWARE of this antics when you decide to use them.
