  For starters every vehicle that was available had a horrible barnyard smell. The customer service definitely needs help and they should be more clear on the charges at the end of my rental I was never returned my deposit after several calls and promises that it would be credited back in three business days it never happened and finally was told that I would not be getting my deposit back due to the tax charge that was never disclosed to me. So the enterprise in Chula Vista I will never recommend you for being deceitful in your business practices

  Incredibly inefficient. They will have one person checking out and checking in. There’s. i electronic check-in or check-out. It’s also relatively busy. You will end up waiting here for waaaay too long. I rent all over the country and this is easily one of the most inefficient locations. Needs significant process improvement or more people.

  I’ve tried other rental companies and had nothing but problems. Enterprise has always been reliable. Saving a few dollars with other companies just isn’t worth the hassle.

  Booked an SUV through Costco Travel with a 12:00 PM pickup time. I wasn’t helped at the counter until around 12:30 PM, and then was told to wait another 30 minutes. After that, I was informed no SUV would be available until around 4 PM, and I only found this out after going back up to the counter myself to ask for an update. They did offer alternative rentals, but only smaller vehicles that didn’t fit our needs. Ended up canceling after waiting, which was frustrating given it was a confirmed reservation. It seems like this location may be understaffed and not managing inventory well enough to honor bookings. I had to prepare my own car for a road trip, which cost me about $250 in servicing, so the situation added unnecessary inconvenience. Costco customer service stepped in and provided a $50 shop card, which I appreciated. However, the lack of any make-good or follow-up from Enterprise was also disappointing.

  I had to rent a car because my car had a recall on it and we needed a car while we waited for mine to be fixed. Ben was extremely helpful!! This experience has been a nightmare but he was the first person I worked with that took the time and helped me out. I am very grateful I got him on the phone when I called. Thank you again.
