- HLHank LeeApr 17, 20261.0I am extremely disappointed with the lack of basic technical knowledge at this location. I brought my 2024 Honda CR-V (1.5T engine) for an oil change. The manufacturer’s specification is 3.7 quarts, but the technician added nearly 5 quarts—35% overfill. When I checked the dipstick on-site and pointed out the dangerously high level, the technician was dismissive and insisted that 5 quarts was correct. I had to drive home, verify the manual, and return to the shop. Overfilling oil by this much can cause aeration, seal damage, and ruin the catalytic converter. Eventually, the manager step in and personally pump out the excess oil. While I appreciate the manager fixing the mistake, the fact that a "professional" tech ignored both the manual and the dipstick is unacceptable. If you care about your engine, double-check their work before you leave.
