Consider me a nit-picker. I was a Service Manager for 35 years before retiring. I'd been aware that RV Service was similar to auto service from the 1950's, but had not experienced it before. I called to make an appointment to repack the bearings and check the brakes on a single axle trailer. Their phone work and contact was very good but the earliest appointment was over a week wait. I had assumed it would be worked on right away after dropping it off, but it sat there another week before a tech was assigned and the inspection was done and estimate presented/approved. Then another week to do the work, then 3 more days for test and QC inspection. When I picked it up with new brakes I had to goose the brake controller quite a bit to get them to work well, but I thought that was due to their being new (?) and would work in. After a short trip with a few hundred miles I noticed after stopping that one drum was very warm while the other was cold. I called, made an appointment for the next day and they had it fixed a day later (open wire inside brake assembly). It seems fine now and I'm using a much lower setting on the brake controller. I know these things can happen, but I knew something was different when I first picked it up, why didn't their "test and QC?" So one star for the excessive delays and scheduling and another for the redo that should have been obvious during a test.

We had invisible brakes installed on our jeep to tow behind our coach. They worked extra hard to finish the job so we could take the jeep on vacation. Thank you McBride's RV.

Excellent service and it did not take forever to get the job done (like other places). I just yesterday recommended this place to someone.
