  I had a wonderful experience with the Volvo dealer yesterday. The technician who assisted me in the customer service department kept me in the loop of the progress of my car .He also demonstrated and answered my questions in relation to the computer and dashboard of my. S80 Volvo.

  Guys in service center are very accommodating. . Can’t believe after buying a car from here and servicing here, I can’t pay with my credit card without a 3% surcharge. The dealership itself is very dated, and has needed a facelift for years. Does not look like all the Volvo dealerships nationwide. Nothing about this dealership is New or stylish.

  I had a really great experience leasing my new 2026 Volvo XC60. Both Youhanna and Jonathan were so helpful in guiding me through then process, finding all the discounts, and finding the perfect vehicle for me.   Dealership Review: Volvo Palm Springs Experience Transaction Overview: I engaged with Volvo Palm Springs for the second time, intending to purchase a second XC60 Hybrid. A preliminary agreement was reached covering the vehicle price, rebates, and discounts. I also requested the inclusion of several accessories/services--specifically tinting, wheel locks, ceramic seal, and tire road hazard protection--at no additional cost, a condition linked to accepting a lower valuation for a trade-in vehicle (I asked for these items as I only had by current XC60 for two years). Paperwork and Pricing Discrepancy: Due to shipping logistics and a prior relationship with the dealership and the fact they wanted the deal to close in November, I agreed to sign paperwork a week before the vehicle arrived. Upon reviewing the documents during signing, I noted line items indicating charges for the requested accessories. When queried, both the finance representative and the sales contact assured me that the charges were offset by discounts elsewhere in the contract or were zeroed out via credits, despite appearing as line-item costs. "We cannot have $0 entries in these fields." My sales contact understood my requests and that they were not to be charged for. He agreed later that was his understanding as well. The confusion came into play with the following written statement, "All above at a BIG Discount. All in." We interpreted this differently. A week later after further inquiry, during vehicle pickup, it was clarified that these items had only been discounted, not provided at no charge, resulting in a higher overall cost than anticipated. I expressed dissatisfaction with this miscommunication. Resolution and Cancellation: The sales manager offered to cancel the contract, consistent with a stated dealership policy of ensuring 100% customer satisfaction. I accepted this offer. During the process of exiting the deal, the dealership required me to cover several expenses: shipping ($525), tinting ($500), wheel locks ($200), and a contract cancellation fee ($250). I had requested the tint and wheel locks as part of the original negotiation but maintain that no separate, signed agreement exists for paying for these items or paying for them if the deal fell through and these items were not part of the signed contract. I paid these fees to facilitate a timely exit from the contract and pursue another vehicle purchase. I acknowledge the dealership's eventual assistance in unwinding the contract and I appreciate that, but I assert that the requirement to pay for the tinting and wheel locks constituted an unexpected and unjustified expense given the initial agreement and subsequent miscommunication. The transaction concluded with me walking away from the deal because all parties were not operating under the same understanding of the final costs. My review is not to bash any one party but more of reminder to others to be cautious of future transactions when multiple parties are involved. I knew what I was requesting, my sales contact knew what I wanted but the rest of the dealership had a different understanding.
