  I will never rent from National again… I’ve rented multiple vehicles from this location and this last rental was a terrible experience. I rented a small suv for a trip to Calgary. We did a quick walk around the car and I was on the road. My wife noticed a small rock chip from the previous renter while we were on the ferry. I took pictures and called National to put it on record that it was previous damage. The employee I chatted with was extremely rude and claimed it must have happened while I had the car and that I would be responsible for the replacement of the windshield. My first stop when I got to Calgary was to an auto glass company. They inspected the rock chip and I paid to have the chip filled so it wouldn’t crack during our trip. While in Calgary we noticed that there was garbage under the front seat from the previous renter and noticed that the handle above the passenger door (on the headliner) had blood stains on it!? The key fob battery died and we had to stop at a few stores to get the proper battery so cars key fob warning light would go out. We returned the car cleaned and the employee instantly walked to the car and pointed at the rock chip (the guy knew exactly where to look instantly) I gave them a copy of the professional chip filling and he informed me that they don’t allow for chip filling and that I was responsible for the $500 windshield replacement. I called National the following day to chat with the manager and was rudely told that the manager was “away for a few months” and was unable to talk with them. Do yourself a favour and rent with a different rental company!

  White suv Nissan, lisence plate: ma5 87e. The driver was speeding very fast in a construction zone that is 80km, which was reduced to 50km, and the driver failed to stop at traffic control and almost hit them. Their excuse was they do not understand english.
