  We got scammed by this company as well (see Christine Whiteside's post about 2 months ago) Rented a car, used it for a few hours to go to Butchart Gardens (approx. 20 miles) and return it within less than 5 hours. Upon return, they accused us of a cracked windshield. Had the windshield been cracked during our usage, we would have heard it happen. My wife was riding in the front passenger seat and would have noticed a crack during our travels, or that occurred during our usage that was directly in ftont of her. She got back in the car after the accusation was made and categorically refused to agree that the windshield was cracked during our usage. She would have noticed it! So, this rental car company is more than "shady" - this is absolutely a scam. What I don't understand is how and why...

  Thanks David for making this the best first car rental experience! So glad I decided to try National for multi-day car rental instead of just going with Evo which I was already used to.

  Excellent service from front desk both picking up and dropping off at the downtown location a couple months ago. The guys at the desk were friendly, professional and prompt (sorry I didn’t note names). The vehicle was clean, comfortable, and ready to go. I won’t hesitate to rent from this location again.
