  Extremely frustrating experience. I made sure to return the rental car with the same fuel level as when it was provided to me. The fuel gauge showed full when I picked it up, and I refilled the vehicle before returning it. Despite that, I was later charged extra for fuel. When I contacted customer service, they claimed the tank was not completely full and needed additional liters of gas. What is disappointing is that nobody informed me at pickup that I should independently verify the fuel level at a gas station right after leaving the rental location. Like most customers, I trusted the dashboard fuel indicator and assumed the vehicle was provided accurately. Instead of fairly reviewing the situation, they simply refused to reverse the charge. This feels very misleading and unfair toward customers. Be careful when renting from here. Take photos, videos, and document every detail before leaving the lot, because you may otherwise face unexpected charges afterward.

  Very disappointing experience with this rental company. I returned the vehicle with the same fuel level as when I received it, and I even refueled the car before drop-off. The fuel gauge showed full at pickup and at return, yet I was still charged extra for fuel. Their explanation was that the tank allegedly needed an additional 11 liters, but at no point during pickup did anyone advise me to verify the fuel level at a gas station immediately after receiving the car. Customers should be able to trust the fuel gauge and the condition in which the vehicle is handed over. It honestly feels unfair and misleading to charge customers afterward for something they had no way of knowing. Instead of taking responsibility or considering the customer’s explanation, they simply denied the refund request. Very disappointed with the lack of transparency and customer service. I would recommend others to take detailed photos/videos and verify everything before leaving the lot, otherwise you may end up with unexpected charges too.

  Picked up Rav 4 in Nanaimo and dropped off in Sydney. Great car, great service. Loved the ability to drop off in a different location. Beware of deposit for incidentals. Make sure you do a very thorough inspection at time of pickup and drop off. Take pictures! We were charged for scratches that weren't from us!

  They slap you with a $500 hidden fee deposit. If you're already on vacation and you're on a certain budget, that's a bit detrimental to your potential plans. I asked if the other car rental places had deposits that high and they said "even higher" which I doubt. I don't feel like I got a good deal and I don't think I would book with them again.

  I rented a car from this location for four days and had an excellent experience. After returning home, I received an email saying there was a small stone chip on the front passenger side and that it might affect my deposit or require an insurance claim. Since I wasn’t aware of any incident, I asked for a repair quote before deciding what to do. Ronnie Chung handled my case and was incredibly prompt, providing daily updates throughout the process. To my surprise, she later informed me that I didn’t need to pay anything because the company decided to take care of it. She even encouraged me to return for future rentals. I’m very pleased with the service I received before, during, and after my rental.
