  Went here to get an oil change the day before a big US road trip, on my way to catch the ferry the next morning, I barely left the house when my car starts rumbling and my check engine light comes on. Luckily I was right next to tires unlimited and they had a look for me right away and asked ‘did you just get your oil changed? Because the guy didn’t put the cap back on.’ I was only able to catch my ferry reservation as planned thanks to the amazing guys at tires unlimited, but this put a huge stress and damper on what was supposed to be a fun vacation. Taking it in to get fresh oil before a long road trip was supposed to be a good idea but turned out to be the opposite.

  Jacob, Jared, Mikaela were amazing. Jacob was friendly and very informative. I drove from Ontario and wanting to make sure u was safe driving back. I learnt things about my vehicle and service that I had no idea about. I even witnessed the big boss teaching and coaching his staff; Helping a staff with scheduling work arounds. Mikaela popped up to say hello. I highly recommend this location. Thanks for making my day GCoC!!

  I’ve always gone to the GCOC off WestShore Parkway, but I was up in the Millstream area and it needed doing so I figured I’d stop in and get it done. It was roughly 5:40pm (20 minutes to close) when I pulled in and I was immediately ushered into the first bay. I was not only acknowledged immediately but met with a friendly greeting and a smiling technician. I apologized that I was coming in so late in the day, but quickly my worry of drawing ire from the employees of this establishment were washed away with ease by the technician, Jacob. I’ve worked retail before and anyone who has is well aware that it sucks when someone comes too close to closing time, but I could tell he was genuinely thrilled to serve another customer. Not only was he knowledgable and kind, but just an overall cool dude. He was not only helping me out but also working the second bay at the same time, all with a calm-cool-collected demeanour that was not even 1% rushed or frantic, which given the circumstances I would totally understand. He explained to me the standard service recommendations for my vehicle and didn’t at all pressure me to go forward with any of those services. I would say this was perhaps some of the best customer service I’ve received at not only any GCOC, but I’d say it rivals any customer service experience I’ve had in recent memory, maybe all time. My recommendation for not only this location but its staff are glowing. I will be returning to this location specifically. Good people deserve recognition for going above and beyond in their field, and that he did. Thanks Jacob!
