I came to get the tires changed on my vehicle. I sent my friend physically to the Sidney location to get an estimate for 4 tires. On the phone, they said $583 plus tax for 4 tires, plus $150 if I wanted alignment done. So I booked an appointment for the next day. The next day, when I went to get the tires changed, everything was different. When my vehicle’s tires were installed and it was time to pay, my bill was $1700. I was shocked. How was this even possible? Then I told the employee there that he had given me an estimate on the phone of $583 + tax, and he completely denied it. I saw there were cameras in the office, so I told him to play the recording and listen to it because he was lying. He said there was no microphone in the camera. My wife and I were completely stuck at that time, and I was told that either I pay the full amount or I would not get my car back. I had no other option, so in the end I paid $1400 and got my car back. For a job I was originally quoted around $800, I had to pay $1400 without any reason. Please guys, never go to this location for any work.

Frequently Asked Questions About Fountain Tire

When should I replace my tires?

Tires wear out over time, and how long they last depends on things like road conditions, driving habits, inflation, and temperature. The best way to know when to replace them is to check them regularly. Common ways to measure tread include the following. - Tread wear bars: When these are flush with the tread, it’s time to replace. - Coin test: If too much of the coin shows, your tread is low. - Tread depth gauge: The most accurate way to measure. If your tread is low or you see cracks, bulges, or notice vibration, come see us.

What are some signs my vehicle is out of alignment?

It doesn’t take much to throw your alignment off—potholes, curbs, or just everyday driving. Poor alignment can lead to faster tire wear and poor handling. Common signs include: - Vehicle pulls to one side - Crooked steering wheel - Uneven tire wear - Loose or unstable steering - Vibration in the steering wheel If something feels off, we’re happy to take a look.
