Prior to travelling, I brought my new credit card with me but unfortunately did not realize that I did not have the PIN. Upon arriving in another city to collect my rental vehicle, I was informed that I could not use my fiancé’s credit card because the physical credit card presented was required to be in my name. This occurred on a Sunday, which meant that visiting my bank to obtain or reset my PIN was not an option. My fiancé spent approximately two hours at home searching for the PIN information for my new card. Fortunately, he happened to be home that day rather than working one of his 12-hour shifts. Had he been at work, I may have been left without any practical way to obtain my rental vehicle and potentially stranded in an unfamiliar city. I fully appreciate that payment and identification policies are necessary for security and fraud prevention. However, I was disappointed that there did not appear to be any reasonable alternative verification or payment process available in this situation. I had a valid reservation and identification, and my fiancé was prepared to provide a valid credit card for payment. I believe it would be worthwhile to review whether an alternative verification or payment process could be offered in exceptional circumstances such as this. Travellers may not always have immediate access to their bank, particularly on weekends or when away from home. Having a secure alternative available could prevent customers from being placed in an extremely stressful and potentially difficult situation. I hope this feedback will be taken into consideration, as what should have been a straightforward vehicle pickup became an unnecessarily stressful experience.

Pleasant staff and clean, new vehicles. Unfortunately the last couple of times I have rented from the Kamloops Airport location I have been rented a vehicle with only 3/4 tank of gas. They instruct you to bring it back with the same amount. I don't feel like doing math when I rent a vehicle.

Thank you so much to Mr Singh, what a professional, efficient and kind man. Really helped us out of a jam, and we won’t know how our journey would have continued without him
