  I've been to this location twice in the past few months, and unfortunately both experiences left me disappointed. During my visit in May, I came in to have a front headlight bulb replaced and to have my fluid levels checked. Tyson initially told me I'd have to take my vehicle to the dealership because they couldn't access the bulb to change it, and the dealership was better equipped. His coworker, Ronnie, came over to check the situation and said that they could indeed replace the bulb here and now. Ronnie was knowledgeable, helpful, and saved me an unnecessary trip to the dealership—five stars for Ronnie! I had also requested that my fluid levels be checked, but they weren't. I had to specifically ask Ronnie to check them because Tyson was no longer around. Today, I returned for an oil change. Tyson was my service advisor again. As part of the inspection, he asked for permission to check my cabin air filter, and I agreed. At the end of the service, he told me he couldn't check it, and I'd have to take my vehicle to the dealership, claiming the dashboard would need to be taken apart to access it. I said that wasn't the case and explained how to access the filter through the glove box, after which he was able to check it without issue. I expect employees to ask for assistance when they're unsure rather than confidently giving customers incorrect information that could lead to unnecessary dealership visits or make it seem like routine services can't be performed. Unfortunately, my experiences overall have left me with little confidence in the quality and consistency of the service at this location.

  I brought my truck to the Duncan Great Canadian Oil Changers for a transmission service. I was told their transmission service machine was broken, so they would perform the service using an oil extraction unit instead. Almost immediately after leaving, my truck began shifting hard and driving abnormally. I initially thought it might need some time to settle after the service, but the problem quickly became worse. When I called, they asked me to bring it back. After inspecting it, they found the transmission had been overfilled and recommended that I have it inspected by a professional transmission shop. The transmission specialist inspected the truck and advised that the transmission had failed and would need to be replaced. I passed that information on to Great Canadian Oil Changers. My biggest frustration has been the lack of communication. It has now been three weeks, and despite remaining patient, respectful, and understanding throughout the process, I still have no clear answers or timeline for resolution. In the meantime, I'm without my truck, which I rely on for work, and the ongoing delays have been extremely stressful. I'm not writing this review because mistakes can't happen they can. I'm writing it because of how this situation has been handled afterward. Clear communication, accountability, and timely follow-up would have made a significant difference. I hope this review encourages the management team to improve both their communication and their customer service when serious issues arise. Also, after contacting the Duncan location Essentially, I was told how do they know that it was their fault and in a kind way I feel I was told to basically beat it. I do not recommend anyone having their vehicle service there if they truly care for it Absolutely disappointed as I’ve used this business for many years And so has my family

  I pulled up and 2 bays were open one was closed there was one person waiting before me and went in. Another person pulled up while I'm still waiting and the third bay opens and the employee calls the person that came after me to pull ahead. The other customer even pointed out I was there first, the employee said that the bay I'm in is leaving now too, fair enough. But they didn't, I waited another 5 or 6 min and the bay door hadn'teven opened for the car in front of me to leave. It sounds petty and a small detail but it pissed me off enough that I left and I won't go back, I got all of my oil changes there. Not anymore.

  I just left from getting my oil changed and it was the most pleasant experience I’ve ever had when getting an oil change, which is such a pain, but my guy Ronnie When above and beyond compared to any service I’ve ever had at any oil place, he was super kind, explained everything talk to me throughout the whole oil change, was one of the nicest gentleman I’ve ever met actually did an amazing job and was so kind I don’t even live in this town yet. I plan on coming back here for every oil change just because of how well I was treated, honestly, he made my day a better one and who would’ve ever thought that of a place that changes your oil. He’s a game changer and I appreciate it.

  I tried to get an oil change here. Was told to move over to let someone who arrived before me go ahead, which was no problem until I proceeded to wait more than an hour while I watched 3 other cars who arrived after me go ahead. Total lack of customer service & so disorganized. Would highly recommend going somewhere else.
