I stopped by the store on Friday because low tire warning light came on. Talked to a Rob at the counter he said no problem they could look at it right away. Found out tire had a bad cut in it and could not be fixed. They installed the spare and ordered me new tire (didn’t have one in stock)said leave the rim and would call me on Monday when it was ready. I left my name and contact number. Monday 1:00 no call so I called them and Rob asked what tire was ordered told him said call you right back. Waited 2 hours no call. Called back Rob said we tried to call you and left message. What number are you calling wrong number. So tire is mounted and ready to go he told me the size just to make sure. Wrong size asked me to double check tire size on my car. Wrong tire. Will order right tire be in Wednesday will call. No call Wednesday phone once again around noon yup tire is all ready to go. We phoned and left message didn’t receive any call. Still had wrong number. Showed up they quickly install tire and away i go home. Parked car got out though I would check tire and low and behold they had the wrong tire on. Called and Rob answered I will look into this. Called back me back with in 15 min (yay finally got my number right) bring car back we will make this right. Back again they finally had the right tire installed on the car after checking myself . Here’s the best part not a simple hay sorry about that nothing but all done here’s your keys. I used to buy all my tires at this store never have i seen such incompetence in customer service and will never set foot in this store again. Would give no stars if I could

I had a few glitches happen during my vehicle's servicing recently. Instead of leaving me with an unhappy feeling, Travis worked extremely hard to solve the issues and, when I left, I was 100% happy. Travis is very genuine and sincere and I was very appreciative of the lengths he went to to make things right. Customer service is easy when things are going smoothly, but harder when there are issues and Travis was excellent. I'm definitely a Fountain Tire Customer for good.

We struggled our way to Campbell River in our rental car with a flat tire and ended up stranded. On a recommendation, we headed straight to Fountain Tire the next morning—even though we didn’t have an appointment, the team helped us out without any hassle and in no time at all. They were able to patch the tire within 30 minutes, despite we had to use sealant as an emergency measure in the middle of nowhere. A big thank you to the team! We felt very well taken care of here and treated honestly at all times. It would certainly have been easy to bill the insurance company for a new tire, which would likely have been much more profitable. We highly recommend this location!

My young niece was treated rudely and was made to wait, without communication, for service/part. She lives out of town and spent 2 nights at a hotel waiting for a tire that they said, 2 days in a row, should arrive. She was laughed at by a woman working there for not leaving her car keys with them, when the staff told her they could change tire in parking lot. She was laughed at after waiting and paying for a hotel waiting!!! She gave up on them and found a tire somewhere else and is home...finally. I am NEVER supporting this place. I would give ZERO stars, if I could. To the women who laughed, I hope you sign up for some customer service training.

The Fountain Tire staff treated me with so much kindness, respect and professionalism when I came in with a tire damaged by a huge nail. I was scared and upset because I was just visiting the island and had to get to the ferry. This was also my first flat! I can’t thank them enough for all they did!

Frequently Asked Questions About Fountain Tire

When should I replace my tires?

Tires wear out over time, and how long they last depends on things like road conditions, driving habits, inflation, and temperature. The best way to know when to replace them is to check them regularly. Common ways to measure tread include the following. - Tread wear bars: When these are flush with the tread, it’s time to replace. - Coin test: If too much of the coin shows, your tread is low. - Tread depth gauge: The most accurate way to measure. If your tread is low or you see cracks, bulges, or notice vibration, come see us.

What are some signs my vehicle is out of alignment?

It doesn’t take much to throw your alignment off—potholes, curbs, or just everyday driving. Poor alignment can lead to faster tire wear and poor handling. Common signs include: - Vehicle pulls to one side - Crooked steering wheel - Uneven tire wear - Loose or unstable steering - Vibration in the steering wheel If something feels off, we’re happy to take a look.
