  Stopped in for an oil change on my lunch break and had such a great experience! Ray was incredibly friendly and made sure to walk me through everything, explaining what was being done and why. I really appreciated how thorough and informative he was without making it feel overwhelming. Best part—I was in and out in about 20 minutes, which made it super convenient. Definitely coming back!

  I had a great experience at Valvoline thanks to Efrain and Javier. They were both professional, friendly, and worked efficiently the entire time. They explained everything clearly without being pushy, which I really appreciated. The service was quick, but they still made sure everything was done right and that my car was in good shape before I left. It’s not always easy to find honest and attentive service, but these two definitely delivered. I’ll be coming back again for future oil changes.

  I had a great experience at Valvoline on white Lane. It was close to closing time but you couldn’t tell by the attitudes of the crew. Everyone was on top of their game and quick to help with any request. I have come to expect this level of customer service at all their Bakersfield locations which is why I keep coming back. Thank you so much for your continued commitment to excellence and professionalism. I think I speak for a lot of us when I say we appreciate you.

  I went to Valvoline at a busy time but staff was great at directing traffic and working efficiently! Even when working fast, they still took the time to go over each recommendation of further services and took out a filter under the hood to show me the wear and tear and asked if I would like it to be changed which I appreciated because at other places they don’t take the time to show you these types of things so I can see myself if it’s an urgent matter to be fixed right then and there. All staff were friendly!

  Hello, I hope this message finds you well. I am a local resident here in Bakersfield as well as a registered nurse. For over the past 10 years, I have been a loyal customer of your company, supporting your business and consistently having positive experiences every time I visit. I truly appreciate the extraordinary service you have always provided. However, I wanted to bring to your attention an unfortunate experience I had during my most recent visit. Upon arrival, I pulled in and was directed into the bay where I was asked to turn off my vehicle, as usual. While I was engaged in a conversation—please excuse me if I have her name wrong—I believe the lady assisting me was named Natalie. She was extremely kind, understanding, and took the time to guide me through my options for an oil change. Unfortunately, during our conversation, another gentleman standing in front of my vehicle, whom I later identified as one of the assistant managers, interjected. He informed me rather bluntly that a particular type of oil I was interested in was not an option. I explained to him that I was in the middle of a conversation, trying to understand the pricing and details about my oil change, but he continued to be quite rude. When I asked to speak with a manager, I was able to get in touch with another individual in management who acknowledged the issue and described it as a “culture moment” for the company. I am reaching out not to criticize your company harshly but to emphasize how critical customer service is to the overall experience. A dismissive attitude or a harsh approach can discourage customers from continuing to choose your services. I have been a loyal customer for over a decade, servicing six vehicles, and I believe that should carry some weight. Additionally, I want to mention that I have several nurse friends who also come to your company for their oil changes, and I will continue to recommend your service with the hope that this type of behavior is addressed and corrected. I appreciate your time in considering this feedback and hope that future visits are as excellent as they have been in the past. Thank you for your attention.
