- ZHZeke Hanscom5 days ago1.0My glass, 1992 Jeep Wrangler rear hardtop window, was originally replaced back in February. Long story short the glass provided by Safelite DID NOT FIT properly. I was told that a new glass would be ordered. So, I had another appointment scheduled for March 11th at my residence. I was telephoned by Safelite early in the morning saying I should come to their shop. I drove to the shop and the technician removed the glass and attempted to remount the same glass. Obviously it didn't fit, AGAIN. The technician said that an attempt to remount the original replacement glass was required BEFORE a new one could be ordered. Okay so another no fit, I just believed another glass would have been ordered. So, now Safelite is unable to obtain another replacement glass and are essentially washing their hands of my case with ZERO resolution, because they only have one supplier.
