  This location is a headache and a horrible experience! Reserved an all wheel drive vehicle and apon showing up, they only supplied us with a front 2 wheel drive. We needed all wheel drive due to a vacation in colorado and going through interstate 70 and the local laws and regulations. We were told to stop by the Las Vegas international airport to swap it for an all-wheel drive.l in which one was not available when we arrived. Ultimately to abide by the law , we had to purchase chains for this vehicle , which cost us one 110$ out of pocket. Three days later in colorado , we were finally able to swap our vehicle for an all wheel drive for our drive back home. Upon returning this swapped vehicle to this location in bakersfield , they're withholding our deposit for the next three days because they noticed on the back bumper, the piece of plastic that is over the bumper, the clip was popped out in which it was already like this upon our swap. Left this location at 4 o'clock PM and called the colorado location to ensure the vehicle was already like this. We immediately call back the bakersfield , location and ask for the manager in which they tell us she will call us back monday and they don't even close until 6. This manager at the Bakersfield location also insisted on telling us we were not supposed to put chains on the vehicle that we swapped in colorado yet the colorado location says the opposing information due to their all wheel drive/four wheel drive & chain laws that are required. In Colorado, when we swapped out the vehicles, we explained we had to purchase chains due to the bakersfield location not giving us what we reserved... They told us too bad we're not returning the vehicle to them because a mistake like that , they would absolutely discount the chains we were forced to purchase due to the fault of enterprise. We brought this up to the Bakersfield location.As the colorado location explained to us , we need to bring up. We were basically told that we're not going to get a refund for that as well as we shouldnt have put chains on the car because its against their policy...they told us it could mess up the tires. In person at this location, we asked for a customer discount being we are plus members and all the inconvenience and considering they did not give us what we reserved , and it was a headache to ever find an all wheel drive after renting the vehicle from them. We were absolutely counting on our deposit of $300 to be returned to us so we could make our rent on time. Now our deposit is in the air until monday. Very unsatisfied with this location unfortunately.

  Enterprise was eager to help get me the type of car that I needed. Since Im handicapped it isn't easy to find one that is easy to get into.I was very satisfied.

  This is a late review (11/07/2025) I scheduled a rental for a short trip out of town for my son’s playoff game. From the moment I walked in I was greeted with great customer service. I picked up my rental and was on my way. While driving for about 40 minutes, we encountered mechanical issues. I called Enterprise, and Elsie answered the phone. The second she answered she was attentive and helpful. She made arrangements for my family and I to get picked up and swapped into another vehicle. If it weren’t for how quickly she made those arrangements, we probably would’ve missed my son's game. Thank you Elsie for your help that day. We will be coming back solely because of your remarkable customer service.
