I want to update my experience with Harden Buick GMC because great customer service deserves to be acknowledged.
I purchased my car on January 31st. The vehicle itself is beautiful, drives smooth, and I was genuinely excited about it. Shortly after purchase, I began experiencing battery issues. The car died unexpectedly, and after getting it inspected, I learned the battery was fine but the alternator needed repair.
Naturally, I was frustrated — especially considering I hadn’t even made my first car payment yet. However, once I reached back out to the dealership, they stepped up in a major way.
By February 24th, their team moved quickly to resolve the issue. Within two days, everything was handled and fixed. What stood out the most was Danny from the Service Department. He personally met me at the repair shop to make sure I was taken care of and that the situation was handled properly.
That level of hands-on customer service meant a lot, especially while I was dealing with frustration. The team remained patient, professional, fast, and reliable throughout the entire process.
Issues can happen with any vehicle purchase, but what matters is how a dealership responds — and Harden Buick GMC made it right.
Because of their follow-through and exceptional service, I can confidently say I appreciate the support and care they showed me as a customer.

I had a horrible experience at this dealership, the service writer doesnt know how to communicate well. and after a month of my car in the shop, they didnt do the repairs i asked
they also put the wrong type of oil in my truck.
They used 0w-20 the same kind of oil thats caused the new truck engines too fail. my truck requires 5w-30 its clearly stated on the oil cap.
the also replaced a motor mount that didnt fix my shuddering issue that the service writer kept mis interpreting as a “rough idle”. they dont listen and think there customers are clueless

Harden Buick and GMC in Anaheim has been my go to place for the last three cars. My first car was a used Buick encore and I traded that in in 2021 for a new Buick encore GX and then I just traded that in Afterpay it off fully for a slightly used 2023 GMC terrain. Joseph the sales person this time around was absolutely marvelous. I didn’t expect to get the car today but when I saw it and the other deals that I looked for on your website, I couldn’t resist my dad needed a a larger vehicle to get it in and out of he is 101 Years old and I needed a little longer car and higher car for him to get in and out of so this car was absolutely perfect. They even fed me because I hadn’t had anything to eat that day. It was a very easy sale. Everything went smoothly.
Drop my truck off for service. I talk to Jesse Negrete told him what was wrong and explained everything I need it done on my truck. He said he’ll call me in couple days and give me an update. Couple days goes by I heard nothing from Jesse. I’ve called multiple times and some lady told Jesse was off. A week goes by we couldn’t get a hold of Jesse for an update on my truck. I was frustrated with no response from Jesse after calling his personal number multiple times. So I called the customer service line and I told them I’m picking up my truck now cause I haven’t heard anything from our service person. Couple minutes later Jesse finally responded but instead of calling me he called my wife. First of my wife didn’t dropped off the car I did and she wasn’t the one you spoke too at the dealership. Don’t know why jesse called her instead of me. What’s more frustrating is I told Jesse what was wrong and all they did was run codes and didn’t fixed any major problems I brought in for. $560 just to run codes and test drive is crazy. They put done I denied service but not their so called diagnosis for $560. But no one called me about anything until I wanted to pick up my truck. I felt robbed and now I know why people have hard time trusting dealerships. I was going to buy car from hear too but seeing how you guys ripped and steal peoples money. It’s all about sales and money here at Hardin GMC. People just chasing money and sales here at this place. I would never recommend this place “Hardin GMC” to anyone or buy a GMC car anymore from this place. I’m trading y’all GMC for Toyota. I’ll never want to be a GMC owner anymore. Im tired of you guys lying and taking advantage of people. I get better service at Toyota and they have less problems and electrical issues with their cars.
Overall Hardin GMC experience was worst then i ever dealt with any dealer. -0⭐️ 👎🏽👎🏽👎🏽

Update 2/19/26
Not even a week I picked up my car from Hardin GMC. It started making a loud knocking sound I never heard before. I took it in for a ticking sound and couple other things. Now is sound a lot worse than before I took it in to Hardin for service.
My experience with Hardin GMC was extremely disappointing and far below the level of professionalism expected from a dealership representing a major brand.
Communication was poor, follow-up was inconsistent, and I felt completely disregarded as a customer. Jesse Negrete was the service consultant I dealt with, and after dropping my car off for service it became extremely difficult to get ahold of him for updates or information. However, communication suddenly became available when it was time to pay in order to get my vehicle released, which was very frustrating.
To make matters worse, I was charged simply to run diagnostic codes on my vehicle, yet the major issue I originally brought the car in for was never properly fixed. Paying for a service that did not resolve the primary problem is unacceptable and shows a lack of accountability and quality control.
Throughout the process, it felt less like customer care and more like the dealership was focused on pushing charges, chasing sales commission, or trying to meet monthly quotas rather than actually resolving the customer’s concerns. That kind of experience leaves customers feeling taken advantage of instead of valued.
What stood out the most was the lack of respect for my time and concerns. When customers trust a dealership with their vehicle, they expect transparency, clear explanations, and effective repairs — none of which were delivered in my situation.
I am leaving this review to hold Hardin GMC accountable and to inform others of my experience. I strongly encourage management to reevaluate their customer service standards, diagnostic practices, and overall communication because what I experienced does not reflect the level of service customers deserve.
Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Hardin GMC.
