Rip off and shady manager on site. Try to charge me $50 for tire rotation on top of charging me for oil change. Most places include free tire rotation with an oil change not here. Stay away.

This was my first time coming here, normally I go elsewhere, but this was closer to home. I got there, Monica greeted me, she was very sweet. It was like talking to somebody, you knew for years. I did tell her I was a bit nervous, mainly that I didn't want to fall into the hole lol. She was great. And then I was handed to Nicholas, and he was really friendly. They explained what my car needed & what not, I was surprised how fast it was cause, normally, oil changes at honda take hours. The operation on how they did it was very military like which was cool. I needed my brake lights replaced also. My biggest frustration was when they were replacing my brake lights. The manager, I believe it was, was messing with them to fix and he broke a cover part and never told me. That's probably my biggest frustration is if you're gonna break a part on a car, you need to let the client know even if the part is small. I had to go to honda, the next day to buy the part. It is a bit expensive over 100, but I think that's also including the price of parts which is a lot and it shouldn't be, labor was cheaper. Tho everything got done, that needed to get done for the most part. Nicholas, Monica and Oscar were really nice. I give it a 4/5, would've done a 5 if they didn't break a part & failed to tell me. Thanks

I just had the best experience with one of the employees at Valvoline. I had my oil changed there yesterday and when I left, noticed that my oil pressure gauge was dipping below 30 when my truck was idling and the check engine light had come on. I brought my truck in today to have it checked. The oil level was fine and the filter was on tight. No one could figure out what the problem was until Monica came by. She listened to the engine and said it sounded like one of the air ducts was leaking. Although none of the Valvoline employees had manipulated the air ducts the day before, Monica climbed under the hood with a screwdriver and started removing pieces from the upper part of the engine to get to the air duct she suspected was the problem. Sure enough, she found a screw was left untightened by a mechanic I had seen previously, so when the Valvoline employee changed the air filter, that duct came loose due to the missing screw. She repositioned the duct, tightened the screw, and the engine is now running perfectly. Monica could have easily told me all the work her Valvoline coworkers had done the day before was up to spec, which it was, and advised me to see a mechanic, which would have cost me a decent amount of money and time. Instead, she went the extra mile and displayed a high level of mechanical knowledge and customer service. In addition, I offered to pay Monica for her service but she refused, with a big smile. I wish more people in the service industry were like Monica. Thank you.

Got an oil change from them today. It took 3 of the techs to figure out how to open my hood (they said it was stuck but I had it open 2 days ago and it wasn't even stiff) then they take my air filter out to show me it's dirty (I know it's part of the schtick) On my way home I find the engine not sounding right so I look... Not only did they put the filter back in backwards but they didn't latch the bottom of the air box and just forced it closed on the top, breaking a part of the housing. I will not be returning.
