I had some tires put on today and they did a reasonable job in a timely matter.
However i did not appreciate the condition of the interior after the tech wiped his muddy boots into my new never before been dirty carpet, seat and door jam, removed some oily dopey gloves from the floor matt and placed them on the passenger seat.
When i have work done to my equipment i expect it to come back to me in the same or better condition then they received it, i shouldn’t have to spend my Friday evening cleaning out my truck after spending thousands of dollars.
Common sense/courtesy is less common everyday.

Absolutely great service. They had the trailer tires I needed in stock. Dropped them off and they were done in less than 30mins. The final bill was exactly what was quoted with no funny business. Highly recommended.

In the last month I have spent almost $4000 on my truck. This includes new tires. Today I went back for the valve cover gasket that was required for the leak. When paying I asked why it was more than the quote.
The girl at the desk said ‘that’s how the system works’. and it’s shop supplies and tax. She didn’t say it nicely. She just put the machine out for me to pay. She didn’t smile. She didn’t say another word!! No thank you for being a good customer. No thank you at all.
I have had a great rapport with the guys at the desk, the drivers that bring me back and forth. I have trusted the mechanics to do the work professionally. And I have been very happy.
But…. When you have a great and regular customer I would think that you’d give them a little break once in awhile. Or at least say ‘Thank You’.
This was neither professional or acceptable.

Professionalism and trust are extremely important in this type of service, and unfortunately, this interaction did not meet those expectations.
I strongly encourage Fountain Tire to ensure thorough background checks and proper vetting when hiring staff. Customers should feel safe and confident in the people they are dealing with. This isn't a few years ago, he's still vile. Maybe take a peak at his social media accounts and see for yourself.
I hope the company takes this feedback seriously and continues improving their hiring and training standards.

I've purchased 8 tires from Fountain Tire in BC and they offered free flat tire repair and free tire rotation. Today I found out the Fountain Tite in Alberta doesn't offer free flat tire repair and only offers free tire rotation. I believe all Fountain tire companies should honor and offer the same services. It was very disappointing specially when you spend several thousands dollars buying tires from them. I had to go to canadian Tire for service and they offer free flat tire service when you purchase the tire from them.i guess Fountain tire lost my business.
Tires wear out over time, and how long they last depends on things like road conditions, driving habits, inflation, and temperature. The best way to know when to replace them is to check them regularly.
Common ways to measure tread include the following.
- Tread wear bars: When these are flush with the tread, it’s time to replace.
- Coin test: If too much of the coin shows, your tread is low.
- Tread depth gauge: The most accurate way to measure.
If your tread is low or you see cracks, bulges, or notice vibration, come see us.
What are some signs my vehicle is out of alignment?
It doesn’t take much to throw your alignment off—potholes, curbs, or just everyday driving. Poor alignment can lead to faster tire wear and poor handling.
Common signs include:
- Vehicle pulls to one side
- Crooked steering wheel
- Uneven tire wear
- Loose or unstable steering
- Vibration in the steering wheel
If something feels off, we’re happy to take a look.
What’s included in the seasonal car care package?
Our seasonal car care package gets your vehicle ready for the weather ahead. It includes:
- Fresh engine oil and filter
- Chassis lubrication (as needed)
- Charging and starting system check
- Brake inspection
- Fluid top-ups
- Belt and hose inspection
- Battery test
- Tire and pressure check
- Heating/cooling system check
- Lights, wipers, and overall safety check
It’s a great way to make sure your vehicle is ready for the season.
What do the numbers on my tires mean?
The numbers on your tire’s sidewall tell you the size, load rating, and speed rating.
Example: 225/55R17 97H
- 225 – Tire width (mm)
- 55 – Height as a % of width
- R – Radial construction
- 17 – Wheel diameter (inches)
- 97 – Load rating (how much weight it can carry)
- H – Speed rating (maximum safe speed)
These numbers help us match you with the right tire.
When should I put my winter tires on?
A good rule of thumb: when you can see your breath — about 7°C and below. At that temperature, all-season tires start to harden, while winter tires stay flexible and grippy. Booking early helps you beat the rush.
