I had a really awesome experience here a little over a week ago. A sidewall blew out on one of the tires on my wife's vehicle late in the afternoon. We were supposed to head out on a big road trip the next morning, so the situation was rather dire.
This Fountain Tire was the only shop nearby that wasn't closing right away. I gave them a call, explained the situation, and asked if they had anything in stock in the size we needed. They found a set of tires and got us in right away.
Less than an hour later they called to tell me it was all done. The service was fantastic throughout this entire process and I felt like the price was fair for the tires we got. Dustin was great to deal with and didn't make me feel like an inconvenience at all despite the urgency of our situation. I would definitely come back here in the future.

Shout out to Dustin for his excellent customer service. I called to inquire about changing my trailer tires. While this location does not provide this service, he kindly suggested several other nearby locations that do. Thanks so much! :)

Dylan stopped to help when my car exhaust started smoking. He offered to look at my car, everyone was so helpful, friendly and fast at finding the problem. Bonus…. They said that help was on them! Super appreciated them all
Tires wear out over time, and how long they last depends on things like road conditions, driving habits, inflation, and temperature. The best way to know when to replace them is to check them regularly.
Common ways to measure tread include the following.
- Tread wear bars: When these are flush with the tread, it’s time to replace.
- Coin test: If too much of the coin shows, your tread is low.
- Tread depth gauge: The most accurate way to measure.
If your tread is low or you see cracks, bulges, or notice vibration, come see us.
What are some signs my vehicle is out of alignment?
It doesn’t take much to throw your alignment off—potholes, curbs, or just everyday driving. Poor alignment can lead to faster tire wear and poor handling.
Common signs include:
- Vehicle pulls to one side
- Crooked steering wheel
- Uneven tire wear
- Loose or unstable steering
- Vibration in the steering wheel
If something feels off, we’re happy to take a look.
What’s included in the seasonal car care package?
Our seasonal car care package gets your vehicle ready for the weather ahead. It includes:
- Fresh engine oil and filter
- Chassis lubrication (as needed)
- Charging and starting system check
- Brake inspection
- Fluid top-ups
- Belt and hose inspection
- Battery test
- Tire and pressure check
- Heating/cooling system check
- Lights, wipers, and overall safety check
It’s a great way to make sure your vehicle is ready for the season.
What do the numbers on my tires mean?
The numbers on your tire’s sidewall tell you the size, load rating, and speed rating.
Example: 225/55R17 97H
- 225 – Tire width (mm)
- 55 – Height as a % of width
- R – Radial construction
- 17 – Wheel diameter (inches)
- 97 – Load rating (how much weight it can carry)
- H – Speed rating (maximum safe speed)
These numbers help us match you with the right tire.
When should I put my winter tires on?
A good rule of thumb: when you can see your breath — about 7°C and below. At that temperature, all-season tires start to harden, while winter tires stay flexible and grippy. Booking early helps you beat the rush.
