Going on 4 hours on hold because the garbage website doesn't recognize rural addresses. Who could imagine that getting an urban delivery company to design your insurance website would have this problem.
Why bother even having the phone number listed if in half a day nobody has time to take a call?

Beyond useless service.
About 6 months ago, I spent nearly 3 hours on the phone trying to get rental insurance. After finally speaking with an agent, she valued the property at $630,000. When I asked why their valuation was so high — considering the bank appraisal was around $370,000 — I was told they “didn’t care” and that I was free to take my business elsewhere.
At the time, I was in a pinch and reluctantly agreed to move forward. Later, I found out the same agent was not even qualified/licensed to complete the transaction properly. She told me another agent would call me back the next day to finalize everything. That never happened.
Fast forward to today: I spent another 2.5 hours on the phone simply trying to obtain proof of insurance of my primary residence Nothing was resolved over two hours in the phone still waiting
I also left two messages this week and nobody bothered to call back.
This is exactly the kind of gross corporate capitalism — inflated pricing, poor communication, and zero accountability.
Back then, they were trying to charge me around $320/month for insurance. I ended up going with Western Financial Group a local insurance company here in Grande Prairie instead for about $153/month, with far better service and actual follow-up.

First driving test the instructor Cara was really nice and helpful, despite my initial failure she was supportive. However when going to book my second test, not only were there extremely limited times that just don’t work for most people, but the instructor was not going to be there the following week. You can book in person but you can’t cancel or change your appointment in person, which I needed to do, you have to call the AMA call centre, which just feels like a move to make you give up or suck it up (real scummy feeling). They were only able to have a road test examiner for 1 week, meaning that not only did I have to wait a week+ to take the first one, but they would have made me wait again to take the test had I not gone elsewhere. AMA honestly feels like a joke with way too much power, and I would stay away from their road tests if possible if you do not wish to waste your time.

Doesn’t say online that you need a membership to register a vehicle and it’s the only place open on weekends

Horrible condescending rude amd unhelpful customer service. I went in to get a document signed for my minor son. The staff member refused to sign the document stating that it was the wrong document and she had seen this application before and it didnt look like this. I told her this is the only one available on the website and it was filled out correctly. She said my son needed to sign and have photo ID which he does not have because he is only 14. She had no helpful suggestions. Just refused to sign. I went to a professional office and got the document signed and taken care of right after. No run around. Don't waste your time going here for notary services. This was a task that was definitely doable by a commissioner of oaths as that is what is stated was required on the document. The representative refused to sign without my son having photo ID and signing it himself. Very unprofessional. And even more unprofessional for your response to assume the customer was in the wrong.
