  Definitely watch out for extra charges me and my dad used one of there truck and we’re charged and extra 100$ for gas even though it was full and another 30$ for the truck but was less on the first charge this is not how a first time customer should be treated and they didn’t even try to fix it

  Penske Truck Rental has been fantastic to work with. I’ve called their support line at all hours… including the middle of the night, and someone always picks up ready to help. That kind of round-the-clock reliability is huge when you’re dealing with a truck issue on a tight schedule.   I purchased a truck from penskee truck rentals in edmonton start of march. It was a 2019 freightliner cascadia. Prior to me picking up the truck sales representative told me they had gone through the truck and there were no issues with the truck as of right now. As i went to pick up the truck started the truck and found out signs of week compression. Told the front office about the issue took it to a nearby shop to get inspected, truck blew two airbags on the way had to get it towed to the shop. Once it was at the shop they found no 3,4,5 cylinders had 0 compression the same day. Talked to the sales representative about the issue i was told that this issue would be taken To management. I have tried reaching them multiple times since then and no response from anybody. This is highly unacceptable and unethicle work practice. Only reason to purchase from them was they would have the truck maintained and they would provide buyers with any deficiencies or damage with the units at the point of sale, which was not the case and they would just ignore the buyers once a issue was adress within the few hours truck was picked up.
