- AMAlex M5 days ago1.0The worst AMA I've ever been to. Came to switch insurance policies and it took them 1.5 hrs just to get me in because they had 2.5 people working there. And at one point they just let other people go in without waiting in a line. -10 out of 10

They send me home, what a waste of time!!!!! I can't understand, there were three customer service in the front when we get there and they don't know or they don't have system where they can control the line, seriously??? I done doing business with AMA. As of writing, I'm doing a quote with TD which is more cheaper and hopefully quick service not like AMA where the service is still old school. Come on, we're on the 21st century already and your people are still slow???

Poor organization today. Update: added a few stars since they made it right for us afterwards.

Can I renew my passport here, or can I only get a picture for it?
We offer passport photo services at all of our centres across Alberta. To learn more about this, visit ama.ab.ca/personal/passport-photo. On that page on our website, you'll also find resources on how to apply for your Canadian Passport. You can get those application forms from your nearby postal outlet or passport office. My driver's licence is due soon. Do I have to book and appointment to renew?
You do not have to book an appointment to renew your driver's licence. Just stop by one of our centres and someone from our registries team will assist you with the renewal.
Do you offer an international driver's licence here?
We sure do. The test costs $17.60, plus the cost of getting your Driver's License after you pass. Visit our website and search for 'Drivers Licence Testing' to find all the information, including what to bring with you. Good luck!
Is there a way to get a in-transit sticker for a vehicle to move?

Can I use the registry services if I am not a member?
At AMA, our registry services are member exclusive. However, you can visit our registry with someone who has an active AMA membership to use our services. Being a member does offer plenty of value.
