- JOJessica OkolieAug 22, 20265.0My daughter’s car won’t start so AMA sent Amil Invictus to check. He instantly found out what the problem was and fixed it in no time. He did a perfect and excellent job. He was very pleasant and knowledgeable and he advised us on what to expect with the new repair. I would recommend him every time.
- UUUntarWowAug 20, 20261.0Just needed a license renewal, put name in queue to get it done and while waiting asked about passport photos. THEY added me to that queue so I trusted they would not conflict. Got my passport photos and was removed from registry in the 2 mins I was in travel. I inquired about it and was assured I would be taken care of shortly. So I waited another hour. Went back and got thrown on bottom of an even longer queue. Would have walked out but the renewal was necessary so had to suck it up. Tempted to cancel my membership after the experience.

When he got here he met me at the front of my apartment building. Picked me up so I could help in the underground parking. He was very professional in his advice and offered to fill my tire with air instead of replacing it with my spare. 5 out of 5 starts for your outstanding service! Thank you!!
- JBJacob BeauregardAug 11, 20265.0I had to get insurance with them and transfer my vehicle over form out of province and everyone there was super helpful, from Lee at the registration to Kawaljeet. Kawaljeet was extremely patient and helpful with me, it was a Saturday and I had to get many different documents from my former province (Québec) while I was there - this made the appointment take much longer than originally planned, and she sat with me the whole time until I was able to get everything. Beyond the wait she was extremely accommodating, as well as the rest of the staff there - I don't think getting insurance is anyones favourite task, but they helped make everything easier!

Can AMA help me with changing my Alberta Health Care Card?

Will you have another AMA shredding event soon?
This year's shredding events have concluded, but Shredding dates for 2024 will be listed on our website as of March 6. For more information, visit ama.ab.ca/events/shredding.
Can I renew my passport here, or can I only get a picture for it?
We offer passport photo services at all of our centres across Alberta. To learn more about this, visit ama.ab.ca/personal/passport-photo. On that page on our website, you'll also find resources on how to apply for your Canadian Passport. You can get those application forms from your nearby postal outlet or passport office. My driver's licence is due soon. Do I have to book and appointment to renew?
You do not have to book an appointment to renew your driver's licence. Just stop by one of our centres and someone from our registries team will assist you with the renewal.
Do you offer an international driver's licence here?
We sure do. The test costs $17.60, plus the cost of getting your Driver's License after you pass. Visit our website and search for 'Drivers Licence Testing' to find all the information, including what to bring with you. Good luck!
Is there a way to get a in-transit sticker for a vehicle to move?

Can I use the registry services if I am not a member?
At AMA, our registry services are member exclusive. However, you can visit our registry with someone who has an active AMA membership to use our services. Being a member does offer plenty of value.
