We had issues trying to register a new car at another registry, and Erin at AMA listened to our situation and offered a simple easy quick fix. Unsure why the other registry couldn’t do it but anyways. Customer service jobs can be awful at times but Erin greeted us with a smile and knew her job. So please pass along our thanks to her as she made our day much brighter!!!!!!!!!!

- GWG WApr 22, 20261.0went here to register a vehicle. Didn't see anything mentioning you had to be a member. was told its on the front door. I went and looked, theres nothing on the front door indicating such. should be obvious signage saying "members only service" so people dont waste time. I see im not the only one who mentioned this as an issue also.
- EZEthan ZavishaApr 22, 20265.0I had Gurjeet as my diving instructor and got significantly better and more comfortable at diving. He taught me lots of information you need to know about driving, I would definitely recommend Gurjeet as your personal driver.

Will you have another AMA shredding event soon?

Can I renew my passport here, or can I only get a picture for it?
We offer passport photo services at all of our centres across Alberta. To learn more about this, visit ama.ab.ca/personal/passport-photo. On that page on our website, you'll also find resources on how to apply for your Canadian Passport. You can get those application forms from your nearby postal outlet or passport office. My driver's licence is due soon. Do I have to book and appointment to renew?
You do not have to book an appointment to renew your driver's licence. Just stop by one of our centres and someone from our registries team will assist you with the renewal.
Do you offer an international driver's licence here?
We sure do. The test costs $17.60, plus the cost of getting your Driver's License after you pass. Visit our website and search for 'Drivers Licence Testing' to find all the information, including what to bring with you. Good luck!
Is there a way to get a in-transit sticker for a vehicle to move?

Can I use the registry services if I am not a member?
At AMA, our registry services are member exclusive. However, you can visit our registry with someone who has an active AMA membership to use our services. Being a member does offer plenty of value.
