  ​Absolute worst experience. Completely deceptive and unprofessional. ​I completed the online check-in the day before, expecting a seamless process. However, when my husband arrived in this morning to pick up the car, he was told the vehicle was overbooked. They downgraded us by two full classes—from an Intermediate (Kia Forte) to a subcompact (Kia Rio)—yet had the audacity to charge us the exact same full price as the higher tier. ​We specifically selected and paid for the Intermediate class because we required essential safety features and cruise control for our trip. The downgraded vehicle completely lacked these necessities. ​To make matters worse, after my husband left with the downgraded car, I checked their website and found that an Intermediate vehicle (Kia Forte or similar) was immediately available for booking at 12:00 PM on the exact same day at this location. Their excuse about overbooking was a complete lie to cover up their systemic incompetence or deliberate deception. ​If they were facing genuine issues, they should have notified me when they sent the check-in request text the previous morning. Instead, they withheld information until the last minute, leaving my husband with absolutely no choice but to take the lower-class car due to our urgent schedule. ​Enterprise has completely shattered our trust. This is blatant price gouging and a textbook bait-and-switch. Avoid this location if you expect them to honor your reservation or tell you the truth.

  I had an excellent experience renting a car from Enterprise in Canmore. From start to finish, everything was smooth, fast, and completely hassle-free. Jake, who assisted me, was incredibly friendly, professional, and genuinely helpful. You can really tell he cares about providing top-notch service and goes the extra mile to make sure everything is perfect. What stood out to me the most was that nothing was being pushed or upsold unnecessarily, which made the whole process feel honest and relaxed. The car was in great condition, clean, and ready to go without any delays. This is honestly one of the best car rental experiences I’ve ever had. If you’re in Canmore and need a rental, I highly recommend this location—especially if you get the chance to deal with Jake!
