Terrible customer service. Randy, the shop owner, promised my winter tires would be covered under warranty. A couple of months later, one tire burst and he refused to honor that promise. I ended up paying nearly full price for a replacement, and he still wouldn’t mount it for me.
I strongly advise avoiding this shop.

I had a garden tractor tire with a small puncture. I found the hole, marked it and brought the wheel with me. Called Fountain tire downtown and was quoted $14.00. I was closer to the east store and so went in there, where I was told flat repairs start at $20.00 plus materials. Same company VERY different pricing. I fixed it myself for $6.00. Pretty sad that a tire store can't quote a flat repair any more...

Amazing service here!
Been going here for years
I’ve witness this old couple get irate with one of the technicians because their tire had a small puncture but they didn’t have an appointment during peak changeover season and they were a bit short staff too.
This technician called the east-end fountain tire and told the couple they can squeeze them in to repair it, he top up their tire with air and sent them on their merry way.
To me that’s going above and beyond customer service especially with how belligerent they were to him.
Tires wear out over time, and how long they last depends on things like road conditions, driving habits, inflation, and temperature. The best way to know when to replace them is to check them regularly.
Common ways to measure tread include the following.
- Tread wear bars: When these are flush with the tread, it’s time to replace.
- Coin test: If too much of the coin shows, your tread is low.
- Tread depth gauge: The most accurate way to measure.
If your tread is low or you see cracks, bulges, or notice vibration, come see us.
What are some signs my vehicle is out of alignment?
It doesn’t take much to throw your alignment off—potholes, curbs, or just everyday driving. Poor alignment can lead to faster tire wear and poor handling.
Common signs include:
- Vehicle pulls to one side
- Crooked steering wheel
- Uneven tire wear
- Loose or unstable steering
- Vibration in the steering wheel
If something feels off, we’re happy to take a look.
What’s included in the seasonal car care package?
Our seasonal car care package gets your vehicle ready for the weather ahead. It includes:
- Fresh engine oil and filter
- Chassis lubrication (as needed)
- Charging and starting system check
- Brake inspection
- Fluid top-ups
- Belt and hose inspection
- Battery test
- Tire and pressure check
- Heating/cooling system check
- Lights, wipers, and overall safety check
It’s a great way to make sure your vehicle is ready for the season.
What do the numbers on my tires mean?
The numbers on your tire’s sidewall tell you the size, load rating, and speed rating.
Example: 225/55R17 97H
- 225 – Tire width (mm)
- 55 – Height as a % of width
- R – Radial construction
- 17 – Wheel diameter (inches)
- 97 – Load rating (how much weight it can carry)
- H – Speed rating (maximum safe speed)
These numbers help us match you with the right tire.
When should I put my winter tires on?
A good rule of thumb: when you can see your breath — about 7°C and below. At that temperature, all-season tires start to harden, while winter tires stay flexible and grippy. Booking early helps you beat the rush.
