I’ve been going to Fountain Tire for the past few years for both my summer and winter tires, as well as my seasonal tire swaps every six months, and the customer service has consistently been exceptional.
Everyone there is friendly, professional, and genuinely helpful. Nathan, the owner, always acknowledges customers when they walk in and treats everyone with respect, which really stands out these days. Ken in customer service is also fantastic to deal with.
The little things don’t go unnoticed either — on a previous visit they even topped up my windshield washer fluid as a courtesy, which completely surprised me.
Today really reinforced why I keep coming back. I was joking around saying Ken told me my tire swap was free today, and Nathan stepped in, handed me my keys, and said, “It’s on me.” I told him I was only kidding, but he insisted.
That level of customer appreciation and genuine kindness is rare. You can tell this business truly values its customers.
Highly recommend Fountain Tire to anyone looking for honest service, great people, and a business that goes above and beyond. See you again in 6 months! 🎉🙏

I called today morning, as my car was vibrating - The Receptionist very nice guy.sorry I don’t know his name he told me because of the snowstorm. Sometimes there is ice buildup around the rims and I just need to clean the rims and I’ll be fine.
And I followed your instruction
And it’s good now
Well, thank you very much for your honest advice. Really appreciate.

Brought my car in today and had the best experience here. Nathan was extremely helpful and understanding and kept us in the loop every step of the way. He made what could have been a stressful situation a breeze and we really appreciate everyone’s help. Will definitely be coming back here in the future and will spread the word to my friends and family. Highly recommend!!
Tires wear out over time, and how long they last depends on things like road conditions, driving habits, inflation, and temperature. The best way to know when to replace them is to check them regularly.
Common ways to measure tread include the following.
- Tread wear bars: When these are flush with the tread, it’s time to replace.
- Coin test: If too much of the coin shows, your tread is low.
- Tread depth gauge: The most accurate way to measure.
If your tread is low or you see cracks, bulges, or notice vibration, come see us.
What are some signs my vehicle is out of alignment?
It doesn’t take much to throw your alignment off—potholes, curbs, or just everyday driving. Poor alignment can lead to faster tire wear and poor handling.
Common signs include:
- Vehicle pulls to one side
- Crooked steering wheel
- Uneven tire wear
- Loose or unstable steering
- Vibration in the steering wheel
If something feels off, we’re happy to take a look.
What’s included in the seasonal car care package?
Our seasonal car care package gets your vehicle ready for the weather ahead. It includes:
- Fresh engine oil and filter
- Chassis lubrication (as needed)
- Charging and starting system check
- Brake inspection
- Fluid top-ups
- Belt and hose inspection
- Battery test
- Tire and pressure check
- Heating/cooling system check
- Lights, wipers, and overall safety check
It’s a great way to make sure your vehicle is ready for the season.
What do the numbers on my tires mean?
The numbers on your tire’s sidewall tell you the size, load rating, and speed rating.
Example: 225/55R17 97H
- 225 – Tire width (mm)
- 55 – Height as a % of width
- R – Radial construction
- 17 – Wheel diameter (inches)
- 97 – Load rating (how much weight it can carry)
- H – Speed rating (maximum safe speed)
These numbers help us match you with the right tire.
When should I put my winter tires on?
A good rule of thumb: when you can see your breath — about 7°C and below. At that temperature, all-season tires start to harden, while winter tires stay flexible and grippy. Booking early helps you beat the rush.
