Fountain tire is the only place I’ll go to now for car maintenance, tire change, and fixes because they are super quick and efficient. They also have the cheapest price in the city and I have checked other places for quotes, but nothing beats this shop. Highly recommend.

Overtighted the lug nuts to the point I couldn't get them off with a breaker bar and two studs were deformed.
My impact gun and torque wrench both top out at 250lb, so I believe these were tighter .. but the guy kept repeating his gun didn't even struggle to back them off so who am I to argue I guess?
I wasn't in the mood to argue, so I'm out of pocket for two studs and the 2 breaker bars I broke trying to get them off, but at least the studs are easy to swap on this car.
IDK they were nice enough and got me in right away without a delay. Arg.

We’ve used Fountain Tire for multiple vehicles over the past few years, and the experience has been consistently disappointing.
More than once, our vehicles were returned with issues that required us to come back and have them corrected. This is not what you expect when you are paying for professional service.
The most recent visit is unacceptable. After a tire installation, we were told there was a leaking brake line. This was not identified or communicated as a risk before the work was done. Even worse, the vehicle was released back to us with a brake line leak, which is a serious safety concern.
Instead of taking accountability, they blamed the age of the vehicle and then chose to label us as difficult customers and refused future service. That says everything about how they handle problems.
We are paying customers. We expect safe, competent work and clear communication. That has not been our experience here.
We will not be returning.

FANTASTIC service! We’re a long way from home, got 2 flats. They got me fixed up and on the road, without trying to sell me 4 new tires, which I have experienced at other shops. In my opinion they didn’t charge me enough $ for the service and extra effort they put in for me and my family!
I HIGHLY recommend this shop!!
Tires wear out over time, and how long they last depends on things like road conditions, driving habits, inflation, and temperature. The best way to know when to replace them is to check them regularly.
Common ways to measure tread include the following.
- Tread wear bars: When these are flush with the tread, it’s time to replace.
- Coin test: If too much of the coin shows, your tread is low.
- Tread depth gauge: The most accurate way to measure.
If your tread is low or you see cracks, bulges, or notice vibration, come see us.
What are some signs my vehicle is out of alignment?
It doesn’t take much to throw your alignment off—potholes, curbs, or just everyday driving. Poor alignment can lead to faster tire wear and poor handling.
Common signs include:
- Vehicle pulls to one side
- Crooked steering wheel
- Uneven tire wear
- Loose or unstable steering
- Vibration in the steering wheel
If something feels off, we’re happy to take a look.
What’s included in the seasonal car care package?
Our seasonal car care package gets your vehicle ready for the weather ahead. It includes:
- Fresh engine oil and filter
- Chassis lubrication (as needed)
- Charging and starting system check
- Brake inspection
- Fluid top-ups
- Belt and hose inspection
- Battery test
- Tire and pressure check
- Heating/cooling system check
- Lights, wipers, and overall safety check
It’s a great way to make sure your vehicle is ready for the season.
What do the numbers on my tires mean?
The numbers on your tire’s sidewall tell you the size, load rating, and speed rating.
Example: 225/55R17 97H
- 225 – Tire width (mm)
- 55 – Height as a % of width
- R – Radial construction
- 17 – Wheel diameter (inches)
- 97 – Load rating (how much weight it can carry)
- H – Speed rating (maximum safe speed)
These numbers help us match you with the right tire.
When should I put my winter tires on?
A good rule of thumb: when you can see your breath — about 7°C and below. At that temperature, all-season tires start to harden, while winter tires stay flexible and grippy. Booking early helps you beat the rush.
