My sister took her vehicle here and I am appalled with how this company treated her. I hope no one will go through what she went through with this place. Please do not take your vehicle here. They are not trustworthy. I cannot believe that the vehicle was not immediately taken back to be assessed after it was making a noise and the check engine light came on the way home from pickup. That is insane to me how a company would do that after the amount of money was spent there.

Bait and Switch Scam Alert:
I received an estimate for a small door ding using Boyd's online estimate system. I accepted the $1900 estimate and booked an appointment to have the work done. I subsequently was asked to come into the shop ahead of the work being done so that the estimate could be confirmed. On doing so, I was told that the door was aluminum, not steel, and hence that the work would have to be done at another Boyd's location. I received a new estimate with a cost increase of over $500.
When I returned home, I checked the door with a magnet and confirmed it was steel (the magnet stuck to the door like glue). I also confirmed the door was steel using a Google search. I sent an email to the estimator asking for clarification and got no response after twelve days. I called Boyd's this morning and got no explanation other than their magnet did not stick to the door. They also noted that they did a Google search to confirm the door was aluminum. They did apologize profusely for the "miscommunication".
Unless Boyd's estimator was completely incompetent, and/or did not perform the checks they said they performed, this experience was Boyd's scamming the customer to rake in an extra $500. I took my car to another shop accordingly.

DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE HERE.
My vehicle was at this shop for over two months following an accident, and the entire experience was frustrating from start to finish.
Communication was poor, timelines constantly changed, and I was often given conflicting information when I called for updates. I repeatedly reported a noise that started after the accident, but my concerns were either ignored or brushed aside.
When I finally got my vehicle back, the noise was still there, and shortly afterward the check engine light came on. Instead of taking responsibility or properly investigating the issue, I was given multiple explanations ranging from maintenance issues to tire replacement and diagnostic errors.
The only reason we were eventually provided a rental vehicle was because we pushed for it after our insurance coverage expired.
After waiting more than two months, I expected my vehicle to be repaired properly and for communication to be professional. Unfortunately, neither happened.
I am now working through my insurance company to have another shop inspect the vehicle.
Based on my experience, I would not recommend this repair facility.

This company has been an absolute nightmare to deal with. After our accident, our insurance company provided several repair facilities, and after researching them, we chose this location. That turned out to be a huge mistake.
Our vehicle was in their possession for over two months. Throughout that time, communication was poor, inconsistent, and often nonexistent.
After repeatedly contacting them for updates, I was eventually told that the vehicle had been sent to an affiliate shop for mechanical work. This information was not provided until approximately three weeks after they had taken possession of the vehicle. I had advised them from the beginning that I was hearing a noise after the accident and that the center console had been damaged during the collision. Despite bringing these concerns up multiple times, I received no meaningful response or follow-up.
When I called to confirm dates regarding when the vehicle arrived and when parts had been ordered, I was given information that contradicted what I had previously been told. Meanwhile, our insurance-covered rental vehicle expired after a month and a half, and despite the substantial repair bill they were charging for, no rental assistance was offered.
I was repeatedly told the vehicle would be ready by certain dates, only for those dates to come and go without any communication. The former General Manager, Shane, was abrasive, dismissive, and displayed very poor customer service throughout the process.
Eventually, Shane was replaced by Pamela, who at least communicated more professionally. After I insisted, we were finally provided with a rental vehicle. I also raised my concerns again regarding the noise and console damage. Pamela advised that she would investigate and later told me the issue had likely been repaired, although she could not provide any clear details.
When we finally picked up our vehicle, the very same noise I had reported multiple times was still present on the drive home. To make matters worse, the check engine light came on shortly afterward.
I immediately contacted Pamela. Rather than acknowledging the possibility that this could be related to the repairs or accident, she suggested it was due to maintenance issues. She implied the vehicle needed an oil change and proceeded to lecture me about vehicle maintenance. For context, the oil change was only slightly overdue, and we had not even had possession of our vehicle for over two months.
The explanations continued to change. We were then told the issue could be related to not replacing all four tires, and later that there had been errors during the pre-diagnostic process. It's interesting that none of these concerns were raised when we repeatedly reported the noise throughout the repair process. They only surfaced after we took the vehicle home and continued experiencing the problem.
This shop demonstrated a complete lack of accountability, professionalism, and customer service. If your vehicle has any potential mechanical issues related to an accident, I would strongly recommend taking it elsewhere.
We are now working through our insurance company to have the vehicle inspected by another repair facility for a second opinion.
