  I have muscular dystrophy and Richard and Thomas were amazing helping with the scratches on my recent paint job from Boyd Autobody on Edmonton trail. If I think about repaint my trunk on my toyota corolla le next year I would let them do that.

  Great experience with Boyd Autobody. While the communication along the way could have been a bit clearer, the quality of work was top-notch. Their attention to detail on the repair was excellent, and they even cleaned my car inside and out before handing it back, which was way beyond my expectations. Really appreciate the extra effort.

  Absolutely horrendous body shop. Quality of work is garbage and takes 10 times longer than reputable places in the city.

  Boyd did an amazing job repairing my damaged vehicle! They responded promptly to my inquiry, got me in for the initial estimate, and was booked in for repair quite quickly. My vehicle was cleaned and looks like new. Should I ever require their services again, I will definitely go back to Boyd. All staff were super friendly and helpful.

  Our insurance company Aviva, set up our claim to go through Boyds Royal Oak due to vandalism. The thieves broke our passenger side window. As per our insurance email, I contacted Boyds to set up an appointment for repairs (a few days after the estimate). I was told the parts would take about a week to come in, so the appointment was set up for today (July 14th, 2026). I had a question that the receptionist could not answer, so she told me the estimator would call me back. He never did. I did not remember the exact time I was to bring my vehicle in, so I called to confirm. They said they had NO record of it!! Unbelievable. This was the second time we had to deal with Boyds Royal Oak. The first time was in 2024 when our vehicle was written off. I had a piece of furniture in the back of our vehicle that I needed out. It took them weeks to give me access to get my furniture. They did only when I complained to our insurance company and then they finally called me. Same terrible service back then. We thought we would give them another shot, that was a mistake and a lesson learned. Avoid this shop at ALL costs! I told our insurance company that there was no way we were going to that shop and to find another one for us. We got set up at CARSTAR, next door to Boyds. So far so good, communication with CARSTAR has been great so far and the appointment for repairs has been set up. Hope this review saves another person the headache of dealing with this terrible shop.
