- DMDaniel M2 days ago2.0Very disappointing experience. I went in specifically for business registration, but I was told I had to wait in the regular car registry line. The “welcome” guy at the front was basically doing nothing to help direct customers or make the process more efficient. After waiting around, I decided to leave and go to another registry office, where I was able to get the service I needed much more easily. A frustrating waste of time.

Advisors late to scheduled appointments, long hold times, long response times by email (3 weeks+), and incorrect/deceiving quotes. Can AMA help me with changing my Alberta Health Care Card?

Will you have another AMA shredding event soon?
This year's shredding events have concluded, but Shredding dates for 2024 will be listed on our website as of March 6. For more information, visit ama.ab.ca/events/shredding.
Can I renew my passport here, or can I only get a picture for it?
We offer passport photo services at all of our centres across Alberta. To learn more about this, visit ama.ab.ca/personal/passport-photo. On that page on our website, you'll also find resources on how to apply for your Canadian Passport. You can get those application forms from your nearby postal outlet or passport office. My driver's licence is due soon. Do I have to book and appointment to renew?
You do not have to book an appointment to renew your driver's licence. Just stop by one of our centres and someone from our registries team will assist you with the renewal.
Do you offer an international driver's licence here?
We sure do. The test costs $17.60, plus the cost of getting your Driver's License after you pass. Visit our website and search for 'Drivers Licence Testing' to find all the information, including what to bring with you. Good luck!
Is there a way to get a in-transit sticker for a vehicle to move?

Can I use the registry services if I am not a member?
At AMA, our registry services are member exclusive. However, you can visit our registry with someone who has an active AMA membership to use our services. Being a member does offer plenty of value.
