Booked a tow for a pick up at the impound. Agent said it will be approximately 1hour, 2 min later she said 1and a half hours by the end of the call she said it would be 2hours, all within a 5 minute conversation. I said ok. 5 minutes later I called to ask if I could just head home and have the truck pick up my vehicle without me present as I wouldn't be able to wait in impound after 10pm. The agent put me on hold and came back to tell me they are canceling my tow because the impound will be closed when they arrive. I explained that the impound allows tow trucks to pick up vehicles after hours I even filled out the after hours pick up form that provides confirmation of payment so the driver will have no issues. I even had the clerk at the impound speak to the agent to confirm that all fees are paid and that the truck is good to come pick up the vehicle after hours. Ama refused and said I could hire another truck and they could "possibly" reimburse me. I asked how much they would reimburse, but they refused to give me an amount. I had just paid $1600 in fees and didn't have infinite funds to cover the other tow. (this is the reason I had ama account in the first place) ... so in the end I paid fees, truck wouldn't come so vehicle is still at lot incurring more fees ... was having a tough day and ama was doing everything in there power to make it worse 😞

Brutal waiting times! Always jammed all day, everyday for registries. Thursday 2pm in the middle of the month, JAMMED. 15+ people waiting on the list and 2-3 advisors. Obviously this is common based on reveiews, but no one cares. Hire more staff!

My son booked his road test through the AMA website, paid $160 out of his own worked-for and hard earned money.
The confirmation email he received told him his appointment was scheduled for 3:45pm.
We arrived 5 minutes early.
The test instructor then informed him that vehicle registration and proof of insurance was required, I began digging it up when he went on to further state that we had 2 minutes to find it or the appointment would be cancelled and my son's money would not be refunded.
Precisely 2 minutes later, I had the insurance ready, and was just about to pull up the registration online when the instructor declared that the test was cancelled.
What they failed to inform us until we arrived was that the appointment ISN'T at 3:45, as we were supposedly expected to arrive at 3:15, a half hour early.
What's the point of sending an email stating that the appointment is at 3:45 when you need to be there at 3:15?? An appointment time is an appointment time! If it's 3:15, then state that the appointment is at 3:15, not 1/2 an hour later!
This instructor clearly wasn't willing to give us any grace whatsoever (despite slightly trying to look gracious), and very obviously wanted nothing more than to get paid for doing absolutely nothing.
As far as I'm concerned, my son was robbed of his money.

If you need a cheap quote. great place. If you expect a good customer service, run away! The claims department is just hired to put anyone in their policy list to be at fault for every claim filed so that they can boost their premiums. i got $300+ premium hike with just 24 hours notice and no policy documents in my email yet!. if you want to have a registry job done. please go somewhere else because these people hate hiring more associates and love making everyone wait

A big thank you to Bo at AMA Westbrook for helping straighten out the mishap with my annual on line vehicle registrations. He was so professional, efficient & organized in rectifying the problem he had me on my way before I knew it. Now if AMA could only get their Staff on their Toll Free Lines to act with this same exceptional level of service they will be much better off...
