- AJAmy JensenOct 1, 20261.0Currently under construction and they have a couple of trailers in the parking lot. Needed to renew my licence was told 45min and they would text. Checked in after 1 hour, another 30min, checked in again at the 2 hour mark- another 15min. Still waiting… They have benches and chairs outside- will not be sustainable once the weather turns, no restrooms. There should be more info online that this location has reduced service and they should be doing more to get people through quicker.
- DMDi McCoolSep 27, 20265.0We booked a trip to Ontario so that my elderly Mom could visit her sister. Angela Escarilla was friendly, knowledgeable and very helpful. She got us a great deal that included picking our seats, carry on luggage, luggage for my Mom and myself and great departure/arrival times. Angela was available for any questions about our trip after we booked. She even followed up to make sure that my driver’s license was up to date since I was renting a car. Personal care with wonderful attention. Thank you Angela for making our trip a great one to remember. I would highly recommend Angela.

I had an issue with my registration while I’m out of province and unfortunately couldn’t make it back and I need my car. My dad had to go in to try and fix it and they bent over backwards for us! Absolutely amazing, from me and my dad thank you! And you guys are amazing!
- SSStephenSep 15, 20261.0They sent an email about renewing on my account except I had closed the account 4 months ago. So I called in and found that the person hadn't actually cancelled my account. Today's rep couldn't help nor could a supervisor they are going to call me back within 5 business days.
- SSsingotSep 3, 20261.0Terrible customer service in general not just with the store but AMA themselves. Next to impossible to reach any help and when I did the lady that helped me with the thing I had asked her to help did absolutely nothing. I had asked her to cancel my AMA insurance and now I’m still getting billed when she had told me it’s canceled and you won’t be billed again. All it takes is to make customer service 24/7 so people can actually cancel things in time and not too late or change something before it’s not too late just so they can get more money out of people. All in all never going back to AMA and not referring them to anybody.

Can I renew my passport here, or can I only get a picture for it?
We offer passport photo services at all of our centres across Alberta. To learn more about this, visit ama.ab.ca/personal/passport-photo. On that page on our website, you'll also find resources on how to apply for your Canadian Passport. You can get those application forms from your nearby postal outlet or passport office. My driver's licence is due soon. Do I have to book and appointment to renew?
You do not have to book an appointment to renew your driver's licence. Just stop by one of our centres and someone from our registries team will assist you with the renewal.
Do you offer an international driver's licence here?
We sure do. The test costs $17.60, plus the cost of getting your Driver's License after you pass. Visit our website and search for 'Drivers Licence Testing' to find all the information, including what to bring with you. Good luck!
Is there a way to get a in-transit sticker for a vehicle to move?

Can I use the registry services if I am not a member?
At AMA, our registry services are member exclusive. However, you can visit our registry with someone who has an active AMA membership to use our services. Being a member does offer plenty of value.
