Even when you know how how their system works she conmes barking at you telling you what to do and yelling “what are you here for!!??” thank god not for good customer service!! I only come to deal with my car insurance folks who are so kind! or i wouldnt come at all

They changed to only appointments for auto insurance, but in a city of 1.3 million there’s no available appointments for days, at every location. Talk about timely customer service. Also when you call to each location there’s no prompt to make an appointment, you have to hope to somehow speak to the reception desk and ask, which every person was rude. I did try online to make an appointment but that is ten times worse !!! You can’t search next available appointment across the whole city, you have to individually select each branch, then select a single agent and check their availability, and back out try every agent one at a time. Do not use AMA ever

Can I renew my passport here, or can I only get a picture for it?
We offer passport photo services at all of our centres across Alberta. To learn more about this, visit ama.ab.ca/personal/passport-photo. On that page on our website, you'll also find resources on how to apply for your Canadian Passport. You can get those application forms from your nearby postal outlet or passport office. My driver's licence is due soon. Do I have to book and appointment to renew?
You do not have to book an appointment to renew your driver's licence. Just stop by one of our centres and someone from our registries team will assist you with the renewal.
Do you offer an international driver's licence here?
We sure do. The test costs $17.60, plus the cost of getting your Driver's License after you pass. Visit our website and search for 'Drivers Licence Testing' to find all the information, including what to bring with you. Good luck!
Is there a way to get a in-transit sticker for a vehicle to move?

Can I use the registry services if I am not a member?
At AMA, our registry services are member exclusive. However, you can visit our registry with someone who has an active AMA membership to use our services. Being a member does offer plenty of value.
