I will not be renewing next year. I spent an hour and a half on hold, which began with ai receptionist. I tried making an appointment in person, which you can’t do over the phone. Next available appointment is July 28th. And I walk in and they tell me it is by appointment only. And then she informs me that to get someone on the phone it is a 4 hour wait. There should be a wait time on the phone. I am an existing customer just trying to add something to my insurance policy. It shouldn’t be this difficult. I will be switching.

For a place where you can only access services if you're a member, it's surprisingly inefficient. Every time I need to renew my vehicle registration or deal with anything ID-related, I'm waiting at least an hour. Other registries seem to handle the same services much more efficiently. On top of that, every visit seems to come with a new form I was somehow expected to know about or a different rule depending on who happens to be helping you. The experience feels unnecessarily inconsistent.

Went to this location July 2nd and it was an absolute zoo!! But when you first walk in, directly to the right there were 2 wonderful ladies that helped me check in. Once we were called to the desk we were helped by a wonderful human named Erin who was the star of the show! She was friendly, funny, kind and very helpful. You will be very lucky if you have the pleasure of being helped by her.

Registry Services: 5/5 Insurance Services: -1/5 From a registry standpoint, AMA is great compared to the public registries. While there is sometimes a line towards the end of the month, the registry line seems to move at a decent pace. From an insurance standpoint, AMA has to be one of the worst to deal with. Their rates are regularly $100/mon higher than other companies for the same vehicles with the same drivers even with the maximum discounts applied. Customer service for insurance is abysmal. 3 hours on hold to talk to someone because you cannot make changes online. They routinely say to book an appointment online but there is nothing for several weeks at this location to book. You can submit a change request online but nobody will get back to you, I've been waiting 7 days now. I did try visiting in person for help with my insurance. I was told nobody would be able to see me in person and there was no sense in putting my name on the list as a walk in since they're so busy. I was told to call and to just expect 2-3 hours on hold to make any changes since they're so busy. For the record, it took me 28 minutes total to purchase auto insurance over the phone with a competitor. Do better, hire more people.
