Had a great experience today, requested a roadside tow, however was not able to be a my vehicle at thst specific time so made it for 30 minutes later- no problem.
Rick gave me a curiosity call to advise he was on my way, was on time.
Rick offfered to drop key off in lock box so I could go home, unfortunately wasn't sure there was a lock box there so met him at the body shop.
He was so professional, I was concerned about driving the vehicle, as it was leaking fluid, said he wouldn't need to just used a mechanical winch to get vehicle on flat bed.
He delivered it the body shop, unloaded the vehicle again in a safe and professional manner.
Thank-you Rick for providing service this a.m you were so helpful.
Have a great day

Terrible customer service for a premium price!
I’ve had multiple poor experiences at the Crowfoot AMA Registry. The facility is dirty, loud, cramped, and uncomfortable, with unclean chairs, unpleasant smells, and staff coughing in a crowded environment.
Staff can be rude and unkind, particularly toward elderly customers and people with accessibility needs. Communication is often confusing and unprofessional, including calling customers’ names loudly across the room.
The parking lot is far too small—twice I’ve had to park elsewhere and walk.
For what customers pay, the level of service and environment are simply not acceptable.

AMA charges members for using credit cards which is absolute bullcrap!!!! That is their cost of doing business not ours!!! That is some nerve. Mastercard and Visa lost a class action suit and they are now only to charge .95-1.40% Anything above that is profit as vendors are allowed to charge up to 2.4%…..not to mention the points you loose….Most businesses opt to not charge as they could loose that customer. AMA is one of the only businesses I actually do business with…if others charge I’m done!!! I cancelled my Prime membership and will not buy from Amazon over similar issues..,,. AMA’s future is limited with me…….More Canadians have to educate themselves about interchange fees and eliminate them….there is no such thing in Quebec….they don’t allow it!! Nine other provinces have to follow suit!!!!

I just left AMA in Crowfoot. I was trying to renew my drivers license. There is now a system where you check in and take a seat which I did. After sitting for 15 minutes or so I heard a staff member explaining to another customer that it was going to be a 2 or 3 hour wait! This is the middle of the month, middle of a weekday, I assume not a rush period. AMA, if you are going to sell memberships to people, you need to support those members with reasonable wait times. I don't believe that 2+ hours is a reasonable amount of time to ask someone to wait. I heard a staff member ask someone else if they had an appointment so I tried to book one instead of waiting. There were no appointment times available at any time in either August or September!
I left and drove to Calgary Registry Services near Superstore on Country Hills Blvd, about a 5 minute drive. When I go there is was lined up to the door and I set a timer on my phone, I was finished and out the door in 14 minutes!
I am extremely disappointed with AMA at the ridiculous wait times. If I have to wait that long for a simple document, how long would I have to wait for a tow or a boost? Why am I paying for a membership?

I always thought that AMA is a wonderful business for their variety of products and services and customer service, ( Crowfoot is my location), however, the last few months I noticed that they changed their system which now results in long waits, promoting to book in advance to be assisted, no answering the phone or follow-ups with applications.
I tried several times to get a simple home insurance quote, I ended going with another insurance company. Also this last week I tried to renew my driver's license twice, which the waiting time was 1.5 hours every time, then I ended going to the registry which took me 15 minutes.
I don't know what is happening to this this AMA location. I am deeply disappointed because I used to used a lot of the products and services from this location. But this change now makes me rethink if I will be continuing going to this business or maybe trying a different location.
